Thanks, I just got a better camera for the closeups, I used my phone as a 2nd camera in this vid and the iso and white balance seemed to drift... hopefully I'll be able to fix that for the next vid.

Hi, I'm looking at this exact kit online, and just had a quick question. If I choose to not have the board populated, does the kit still include the fuses and mosfet? It's not super clear on the site. Great video, and I look forward to building this!
You would need a chip to control the battery charging logic (how fast to charge, to monitor each cell, to know when to stop charging, etc) those do exist but we don't have those in stock
No, for a few reasons... I don't think you could find a pot that could handle this kind of load, even if such a pot exists, it would be huge, and it would be an extremely inefficient way to regulate the voltage, all the reduced power would be wasted as heat. You need some kind of switching regulator which can be controlled by the pot.

i cant find the 3034 n ch MOSFET around my area and due to corona virus situation mist seller are taking too long to deliver and honestly speaking I can't wait that much😅. Can you tell me why did you use 3034 particularly i am studying electronics so it'll be easy to explain stuff. It would be a great help. Thanks

Yes, the onboard components are included either way, the options is if you want us to solder them onto the board.

is it okay to use IRFZ44N mosfet transistor for unregulated mod?
use high amp mosfet sir, if you use z44n it may heat

Sure but you'd want to use bigger non-smd components, the IRLB3034 is a suitable popular mosfet for mods.

The mosfet does not play nice with the low(er) voltage of a single battery, 2 batteries wired in series are required for this board.
question about this enclosure, will it fit a 24mm atomizer without overhang? or should I get the xl version?
The ABM-2 is 28mm thick so a 24mm atty will fit without overhang. The ABM-2XL is 32mm thick, you could use a 30mm atty without overhang.
