@@kiow7555 not at all the paithani that we get in local market is not made on handloom and the traditional patterns of ashawali, mor-bangdi and other peshwai period motifs that are now only made on commission and are absolutely stunning. The addition of peacock pattern on paithani are not even 100 year old and originally the peacock was not even on pallu and was only woven in border, thee are many styles of paithani that are not even woven now like garbha reshmi paithani, Muslin paithani and many more. So think before saying it overhyped its not at all overhyped the thing is that people are not at all aware of the traditional weaves in paithani.

Okay just for people who are so upset because this is season is like becoming like another shows on indian television especially because ashneer isn't here to bash people, and be brutally honest etc etc. Most pitches in this show are just a reflection of our country as a vibrant, emotional and slowly progressive society. When people watch them they relate to them as being normal people, starting from zero , having same background story, and having a passion to build something of own . It gives people hope so if the tinch of emotion is a motivational force what's harmful?????? Brutal honesty which tells ----- hume sirf dhanda krna hai .

Good to see the interest of entrepreneurs - and the enthusiasm of venture capitalists - in reviving India's traditional crafts and providing the management and marketing support. Shark Tank India should bring out more such episodes. It will encourage and inspire the revival of artisans and their skills and create a new market for their work in India and abroad.
When women buy traditional wear we mostly spend more money because expensive traditional wear gives more comfortable and classy look wearing it. I think this Saree can become huge with proper marketing.
I'm from Assam I have seen girls wearing traditional attire for 30k, 50k for simple occasions. Handloom is expensive because it takes lots extensive labour and I think most women who loves traditional attire understand that.😊

I love paithani saree. I purchased it from Amazon made salwar suit out of it. I also purchased it seperately to wear. Now, I almost have 4-5 paithani silk sarees including parrot pallu, wedding style pallu 😁 . So, I can proudly claim I am obsessed with it 🧏

I request every single viewer here, to visit various handloom exhibitions happening in the cities or even visit fabric/ saree weaving centres; believe me you will be left awestruck and fascinated. Shark Tank is now like a Serial, with 99% story and emotional talks and 1% business or growth talks. They don't talk about numbers or stats, music plays in the back ground and its like sas bahu serial now. Season 2 is almost 100% fictional now. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Only during the closing of the episode Piyush talks about the real sales and stuff. Not gonna binge on Shark Tank now. Not worth it anymore.
