I don't know the actual truth I might be wrong. My home town is in Uttarakhand but I live on Delhi.
All I see is we make "pissi lunn"(that garlic salt) jsit for our own family. I don't know how many people are selling this salt commercially and on big scale because according to my knowledge most of the people make this just for themselves...

11:52 I disagree with Mr. Mittal here. If something is regularly available in a region, it doesn't mean it can't be a business. The whole point about such regional start-ups is propogating their available products to rest of India. I guess this is how we savour Darjeeling Tea, Gujrati Dhokla, Mumbai's Vada Pav, South Indian delicacies and the list goes on. Normal things also make great businesses.

At this point, I honestly feel that Amit really is a good shark. He is business minded but at the same time he understands how important it is to support small business owners and help them grow the business. This season is all about Aman, Namita and Anupam investing in businesses that are already scaling and making it big, which is a big put off. Peyush and Amit are the true sharks who want to make a difference.
Feeling proud to see someone so grounded with traditional uttrakhand wear from my devbhoomi, my homeland to represent on this stage. That pisyun namak from silwatta brings back so many memories.
