I totally understand the girls in the video. I used to straighten my hair a lot, most of the time was because my hair gets really frizzy and I didn't know how to style it so I just straighten it, easy solution. I don't do that anymore as I learned how to do it. it is actually pretty common for girls with curly hair to not like it, but eventually, they learn to love it .

i used to straighten my 2c/3a hair everyday for two years (with no heat protectant😫) to fit in with my friend group (who all have straight hair), it's only in the last year that i've started appreciating my hair! it's still very damaged escpecially in my fringe which is practically straight except from at the roots, ive still got a long way to go but i'm excited!!!

The real main reason is to wash all the product out cause straightening your hair with products in it can damage your hair and sometimes your hair won’t straighten with products
