I love this tutorial. Its perfect for someone who's not a beginner, doesn't need to know how to create the stitches or how to change colors...just how to create the pattern. I look forward to watching more from you.

Omg this is exactly what I’ve been looking for, I bought a 24 skein bag of multi coloured yarn and this pattern is perfect for them.
Thank you so much for creating this beautiful blanket pattern

I like this one. I've been doing a lot of small afghans and making each a different stitch/pattern, and I love doing these from the center or c2c type afghans, as I'm using the Mandala yarn and using 2 balls of each, so doing these types mean I don't have to worry about yarn amounts.

I got the buttercream luxe craft rainbow boucle yarn in the color slates and pinks, I've never seen a yarn quite like it and it's working amazingly! I just started a couple hours ago and I'm enjoying this so much! I can't wait to make more in all the colors! good call on the self striping otherwise what a headache! thank you so much for this! This looks easier than the Ten-Stitch crochet afghan I started this weekend. (I believe the LYS I shop at chose that pattern for its afghan contest because there were both knit and crochet versions of it.) The next time I start a charity afghan that's not having to meet a contest's rules, I might try doing a "log cabin" afghan, instead of my usual granny-square throws and baby blankets. I certainly have enough scrap and single-skein yarns in stash to make a very colorful log cabin afghan!

Hooray! I've searched & searched for an afghan pattern for my godson & his bride. Just couldn't settle on a pattern/yarn/colors that seemed to suit them. Until now! This pattern is perfect -- retro & cozy, yet sleek & geometric. Love the Lion brand "Textures" yarn, great feel to it. I'm using the Ocean Waves color way. Soothing blues that will complement many color schemes as they move around (he's a young Marine). Just got started, but already love the look. Simple pattern, but lots of visual interest. Thank you thank you thank you! Not only love the pattern, but your super clear tutorial (as always!) made it a snap to pick up. Appreciate the little tips & techniques you share once you've gone over the step-by-step instructions. You really do have a genius for teaching! Did I mention: Thanks!!

I love this look, I made an Afghan for my mom for Mother’s Day and she loved it. I’d like to make another one to kind of match the other one bringing in some of the same colors, but a different look. But I want it to be one piece not squares assembled later. So my question is, can I take the colors I used for the previous Afghan and use this method? Would it work, or look sloppy?

she does say if you are changing yarns at each block, then just turn the same way every time. I'm thinking however, if you are wanting to use all one yarn without cutting, maybe make the first block 6 or 8 instead of 7 to be able to start the second block on the other side and then maybe the rest can be done with 7 rows to keep going that way?
