The room looks fantastic, clean bright and airy. Dam's family and local community have all worked hard to make this happen. Different people visiting him, nutritious food to build him up and physio could all help to make him recover over the coming year.
People are so cruel. It is part of your life. Your channel needs to cover everything in your life. You're not begging for donations. Love your channels, mate. Love watching the kids grow up memories of my family. Stay healthy.
It was great to see the community gather around and help your family get ready for dad to come home I shed a tear when I saw Damos brother carrying dad into his new room One day that I am going to be a old man and I want my Thai family to gather around me Good luck Ryan you have a great family Mick
It takes a village to raise your family up… you are so blessed to live in a community where everyone pulls together in times of need. I have followed your channel for years and not one time have you asked for money for anything…just know your true followers are here to support you and wish you and your family well.. especially your father in law.. prayers for him to recover soon.. he has his loving caring family to take care of him as he gets better.. I really like the area you have made for him.. take care Ryan all my best to Damo and your Thai family.. watching you from Annapolis Maryland USA
Yai is a very brave woman. and now in addition to taking care of the children, everyone's meals and the farm, she will also have to take care of her husband more... I hope she gets the best help with all these tasks... she really does hold the house on her back!
Ryan and Mo what a beautiful community you Iive within. Thanks for sharing. I just moved to Thailand from America as a solo wheelchair traveler and would love the opportunity to visit your farm. Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck to your father/father in law, having a stroke can be very difficult but people around him is so important, nice to see your family coming together to help him 🙏🏻
Damo! You MUST, MUST take care of your self! In order to help and carry your family you MUST take care of yourself! Mother had cancer, I took care of her, until I got very sick, two weeks in bed…I could hear her crying for me, for I could not go near her! Sending you much love, light and healing prayers and strength to put time and health upon you, as well! God blesses you all! 🙏💕🕊
It is so wonderful to see the family and community all taking part in caring for Damo’s dad. I have been caring for my mum and dad since 2007 who have lived with me by myself. Dad passed Nov 2023 aged 92 and now I just have mum aged 90.
Great video Ryan and Mo lovely to see Mo''s Dad come Home and everyone pulling together. Great renovation and a first class team effort. I think the hospital bed is a great thing and it's design will help prevent bed sores. Hope his progress continues and he will be much happier amongst his family. It's good you decided not to give your buffalo away for next to nothing just bide your time. Please don't listen to the negative Naysayers who comment on your channel 99% of us enjoy your channel and are fully behind you. God Bless you and your family❤
Hey Ryan and Damo, I have been reading through the comments and finding myself liking almost all. You are so fortunate to have a long list of supporters and I am privileged to count myself as one. My best to both of you and your children and of course, your Thai family. ❤
Great transformation of the room to keep Damo's Dad comfortable and make things that little bit easier for his ongoing care. The air mattress to stop pressure sores is brilliant, my late wife spent 1 month in bed between the 9th of July 2017 and the 31st when she passed away, so I know the value of these specialist equipment. You're all so luck to have such a brilliant community around you. In Ireland back when I was a child my father was a farmer, every year at crop time the local village farmers would gather together and help each other, whilst the wives would prepare food and refreshments for the workers, we called it a "meitheal" from our gaelic language
Heartwarming seeing your family & community working together to give your FIL a comfortable room to return home to. Don’t see that very often, great job by all those involved. To those who suggested Ryan would ask for donations, how sad & judgemental, hopefully you’ll learn something about authenticity and the Thai way. Another wonderful vlog thank you Damo & Ryan 🙏
This is a vlog about humanity, well presented by a loving family and a beautiful community. Get well soon Grandpa. Maybe just back off the rice whiskey a little!
I'm very happy that your father has come home, Damo. I agree Ryan, Thai community is so refreshing after years in the West. All the best to everybody.😊🙏🙏
So happy to see Damo's father home, where I know he will be very well looked after by all the family and friends. The inflatable mattress, looks like a "ripple" bed to me which helps to prevent bed sores, when someone who has limited movement stays in contact with a surface for too long, a pressure sore develops. This mattress will go a long way in helping this problem. Love his new room. Hope that you can sell the buffalo soon when you can get a fair price for them! God bless you all. Praying that Damo's father will gradually regain some movement in the paralysed side, which will need a lot of family Physio. 😀🙏❤
Thanks, also moving to see your Thai family come together. In 1986 I spent 4 months travelling from beach bungalow to beach bangalow (Koh Pipi, Koh Samet, Phuket etc.,) with a severely arthritic and handicapped 64 year old woman in a wheelchair - ferries, buses etc., THE THAIS WERE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and so HELPFUL..Khopkun Krapp 1000x. Thai massage, warm ocean swimming, excellent food really worked wonders but then cancer kicked in. Best wishes to you all including those beautiful Water buffalo, Chok dii !!!!
Always impressive how the Thai families come together. Even (experienced) when they have fallen out, when it comes down to a need of pulling together they do. Good job on the room. Now you’ve got Damo and her dad to feed up.
All of you are so possible by being patient and understanding your father-in-law. “For many, their life has become lonely, depressing, and physically, mentally and emotionally painful and exhausting. Don't get angry or yell at them. Love and respect them. It's not their fault for getting old, and what has happened to them will happen to all of us eventually. Becoming elderly is just a natural ending process of life.” This is my own information about when your father-in-law was back with a special surprise for him to see the new styles of renovating the kitchen areas. I'm starting to feel more tears of joy when the show is ending, Damo and all her family members came to see how he is feeling including hugging Hugo by letting him feel more comfortable than keep on drinking whiskey by taking care of ox and other farm animals. That's a respectful way by taking care of him more than the farm animals as you also did info you're still going to care for the ox which have more space for them.
Absolutely love Thai families. My father-in-law(Thai) died a few years ago. Will love him forever, he met me off of a bus in the village 23 years ago and we became friends instantly.
Good to see Damos father back home I'm sure everyone is happy to see him back where he needs too be. He looks very frail at the moment but I'm sure he will come on now he's back in familiar surroundings with the family. All the best guys take care of one and other
So wonderful to see how the whole community comes together in times of need. He will be so much happier now that he is back home and that will certainly help in his recovery. The family will provide all the TLC needed and that will go a long way too. It will be a bit difficult at first until you get a routine going but will get better as you all get used to the new normal. Wishing you all the best ❤
Beautiful the way family has embraced their father with LOVE,RESPECT Unfortunately Ryan negatively is how some people move in the world just keep your light shining you care for your family with Love..Thanks for sharing it with us😊❤
My Thaì wife's father had a stroke (a consequence of drinking rice whiskey). Only my wife was there to look after him. Damo - your Dad is so lucky to be in a comfortable, clean, loving environment with family & friends around him. This channel is marvellous and resonates so much with my experiencea even to being told to stay in the car in order to avoiď being seen in order to get a better price when selling or buying ! Best wishes.
Wishing your father-in-law / father a speedy recovery and get well soon . What a wonderful family you all are , also the Village community who have rallied round to help . It's just wonderful to see this. So happy he is home surrounded by years wonderful family who will shower him with love and care . He will be in my thoughts and prayers as will you all at this difficult time
It’s nice to witness people and family who care. Many people would just say ‘he deserves what he gets and he should take care of himself,” He is fortunate to have such a loving family. I truly hope his health improves. As to the buffalo. Guess those folks really didn’t want those buffalo and kudos to Yi for saying no. I guess it doesn’t matter where you live in this world there are folks that will attempt to take advantage of a tragedy. The weather looks good as does the farm. Looking forward to the transformation of the area where the pigs are.
sawas dee krup, it is beautiful to see the family all together to help with pa and his recovery. God Bless yi and the work ahead of her, im sure she will also need help and it appears the family has it under control.
My heart goes out to all of you, as we had to take care of my husbands grandmother when she was put on hospice. I did most of the work alone as my husband worked but he would help when he could at night. It will be so much easier with multiple people to help take care of him. Thoughts, prayers and good vibes for all of you!

"ขอเป็นกำลังใจให้นะครับ ขอคุณพระคุ้มครองให้ปลอดภัยครับ" Thank for sharing once again! It's worth to to watch and wishing Damo's dad speedy recovery. ❤💪🙏💯
The room is coming together so well.. I hope Damo's dad heals well.. beautiful community you have there Ryan.. good that you can hold onto the water buffalo for a bit longer.. get a better price etc.. would be hard for the family to see them go but needs must I guess.. exciting about the new bird house you're making from the pig pen... I love how you guys are always creating new things and new ideas.. very inspiring!.. much love to you all.. healing energies to Damo's father as well.. 🙏❤️🩹🦋🥀
What a blessing that there will be many to help care for dad in a nice roomy place. Many others in this situation don't have the help or the space, which makes recovery so much more difficult 🙏
Another thoughtful way of life in Buri Ram. Another chapter in your family’s life. Ryan.. stop worrying about the naysayers, great to see everyone contributing to looking after Dad. Can I make a suggestion ( you probably have done it already) put Dad’s bed facing looking out over the kitchen where their is more going on that he can see, might be more interesting for him.
So sorry to hear about your dad's setback.Wishing him a speedy recovery.Just ignore those negative comments. They are just sad that they are alive. The boys are growing fast.Take care.
People are strange Ryan!!! Especially the ones who criticize😱 I am so glad the room is finished for Damo’s Dad! It looks great….thanks for posting this video and best wishes to everyone there😊 Have a wonderful weekend:)
i'm glad your dad is back home and on the road to recovery. very nice seeing the family and community come together. i will be arriving in time for Loy Krathong and will be up North =)
So happy everything is working out. Wish I could have been there to help out. We are struggling to get Ratcha's grandpa and aunt to stop with the whiskey. He is 96 and still super active, I can't believe he still drinks and smokes.
So happy to see what you all are doing for aloved one especially your father and mother the blessings you all will receive from God is all you want 🙏 ❤️ God bless you all always 😋 ❤️ 🙏
My wife had a similar situation with her grandfather 😔. But unfortunately he passed away. But yeah everything you say about the community all true. They have that strong community family values for what I love Thailand for.. I miss Thailand every day. Such a beautiful place to live ❤❤❤
Hey Ryan, thanks for another episode and update on the remodel. Good to hear you picked the right tile and everybody loves it. i have witnessed many elderly relatives and not so elderly friends and family become bedridden and pass, am hoping Grandpa can get stronger through eating and some exercise to become mobile again, Life in all its stages, Otis and Hugo through Grandma and Grandpa all living together on the homestead. A very special time in life for y'all. Peace, Love, and Life in Rural Thailand. All the best guys, ps I am a bit surprised no one wanted/paid to insulate the roof. Mai pen rai, TIT. If you make a real mini bar with cocktails or beer i would come visit! 555

What a beautiful story.
You are so fortunate to have some very good local builders.
Life is full of critics for some bizarre reason , so many sad people in the world I suppose, my best wishes to you and your wife’s Father .
I'm glad this criticism hasn't had a negative impact on his channel.
What a team effort to get his space ready for him!
Having been through similar situations, only one piece of advice............One day at a time !!
Grandpa is blessed with love. Hope his life style changes and he regains his health!
There's a deep soul in that man. The way he intently marvels at your son.
Hope all goes well for Damo's dad. Lovely to see community/family working together.

Thanks Joe - hope you are well 🙏
This is a vlog about humanity, well presented by a loving family and a beautiful community. Get well soon Grandpa. Maybe just back off the rice whiskey a little!
Agreed. I love this family, and the message of community. I crave more of that….so lost in the west, for many of us, as loneliness is an epidemic.
Amazing community support, love that still has strong support exists in that community. Hopefully he will recover soon. Damo is very strong Lady 🎉
Now Yai is even the bigger bedrock of the extended family, as she has always beeb. Her stoicism says it all. Wish Damo's father a speedy recovery.
so glad to see dad home its such a better place for him to get far better care
Good to see him back home, he will be alright again because all the love and care from his family will see to that ❤
Thank you my friend 🙏
Hope your dad gets well soon demo and well done guys reno looks great 👍👍

He is just a lil bit. Please get stronger and get well! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
My heart goes out to all of you, as we had to take care of my husbands grandmother when she was put on hospice. I did most of the work alone as my husband worked but he would help when he could at night. It will be so much easier with multiple people to help take care of him. Thoughts, prayers and good vibes for all of you!
Very happy for your family…. Sending love from Malaysia❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ryan and Mo love watching your channel lovely family
Good video. Glad to see the father is kicking on. Yes. It's always a reminder that we are mortal. Even at 70 I'm hoping to keep going. Excellent to see family and friends around him.
Regarding the buffalo, best keep them. They are a part of the lifestyle in Thailand. Nice for the kids to see them around and the elderly I'm sure are glad to see them, as they are a sign of wealth and prosperity. This is good for the heart and mind. I'm not against selling them, but feel that the elderly can see the value of them as part of the family. Easy enough to sell them later, even if it is just to the local butcher so the locals can get cheaper meat.
There is plenty more in life than money, even though we all need it. 👍❤️😇
Best wishes for the family taking care of Demo’s dad. It is wonderful how they join together in care giving. 🙏💜🙏
God bless your family and Dad speedy recovery 🙏

Hey Ryan, thanks for another episode and update on the remodel. Good to hear you picked the right tile and everybody loves it. i have witnessed many elderly relatives and not so elderly friends and family become bedridden and pass, am hoping Grandpa can get stronger through eating and some exercise to become mobile again, Life in all its stages, Otis and Hugo through Grandma and Grandpa all living together on the homestead. A very special time in life for y'all. Peace, Love, and Life in Rural Thailand. All the best guys,
ps
I am a bit surprised no one wanted/paid to insulate the roof. Mai pen rai, TIT.
If you make a real mini bar with cocktails or beer i would come visit! 555
