Maybe that's what's wrong with Lego nowadays, and why there's so many set specific parts. Imagination is waning in our youths futures. ...but I also still don't get why people bring built sets back. If I hated or was bored of the set that much, i would just mix all the pieces in with my mixed Lego. That used to be the whole point of Lego, it grows with your own imagination.

This place is the real deal - if you happen to be in the Atlanta/Newnan area - you MUST go! My brother recently moved down there and we went with his son and it is by far the coolest store around. I was never a big Lego-ist growing up (but since I went 4 months ago - and I am 34) I have purchased at least 30 sets and have been hooked on building and collecting. It really is such a fun, therapeutic, and rewarding hobby! This store has it all and Ed is the man. Support and protect these guys at all costs!

That s a bit wgat happend to me.. I went into very hard times in my life, from child to today (39yo) my older memory is me at kindergarten
(funny to use german to speak english.. I speak french, had an english father and always hated learning german in school because in french part of switzerland, first and most important language after french is german because biggest part of switzerland speaks "suisse-allemand" a.. too specific language but very similar to german so they teach us german which is 100% understandable in german part of switzerland)
Sorry.. speaking too much.. my older memory in kindergarten I was hidding all long waiting for my mother thingink she would not come.. that she abandon me.. shit happend since very early BUT, as a child I had a bit of lego..
Recently, less than 2 years ago, I seen lego puzzlebox video (kind of "casse tête" brain teaser ? Something like a problem that you have to solve but made of lego..
I felt 8n love with the idea an started reunite all my lehos to do some, quickly see that I had very few tiles (plates without studs) so went.on a "hunt" to find more.. more tiles for mechanisms to make parts that you can push or pull from the cube, box or whatever it was, even buying sets principaly for these tiles so I started looking at instrucyions to see the pieces listing at the end.. to see what pieces and how many too decide if the set was worthy for me, about tiles but also other pieces, and.times went on and I diversify my lego creations and the lego parts.that I wanted sometimes changed but often just increased so more and more the time passes more pieces was intersting for me so the more easily I would by sets because of the quantity of pieces that would have a utility for me.
And now I start.to have a decent lego collection, build cool things and everytimes life becomes a bit hard and.shitty I come.back to my lego for an evening, 2-3 days or a week then let them on the.side for a.couple days or more and.come.back again..
For me.lego.is something so.. no word for it.. something that.answered to absolutely no problem, isn't necessary at all but gives us so much and is so cool.. it s like.a dream.. something like seems not real.. like it something you have in a really cool dream and.then.you wake up..
We have so much chance to have.lego in our lives..
Maybe I had to have a shitty life to realise tje beauty of simple things like friendship, love, food, happiness, lego.. 😂 yeah ! Really ! I don't trust in god but for.me lego is a gift of god..
Lego bring me.joy, happiness and even help me.fight against my addictions.. it helps me..
If you rediscovering lego, don't have a lot and.never "prcatice" like building things etc man ! Let you heart and.emotions.speak.. do like me.. go back to it, don't hesitate.spend a.bit of money into it (if you can of course) 😉👍

Wow! I'm so jealous there isn't a store like this in the UK. I don't get why people complain about your pricing on some items. If it's a set or a minifig that I really want, then I don't mind paying the extra to have it in my hands there and then, knowing that you've guaranteed that all the parts are there. Also, Lego values are a very volatile thing and it's really hard to know what to price something up as because it's just as easy to lose or break even on it as it is to double your investment. Having such a HUGE outlay on stock and storage, prospecting for profit just on one commodity is a MASSIVE risk. It's truelly amazing what you've built up and are able to maintain, so you're obviously doing it right. I doubt there's many people that leave your store without buying something, or at least planning to buy something. It would be very hard to not get inspired in some way during a visit there. I bet word of mouth spreads far and wide from anyone who's been. I'm glad TH-cam recommended this video. I very rarely watch something this long, but I was hooked.

You are wrong on that "Slot cars" racer set. they are not pull back they have an electric motor inside and a capacitor instead of a battery. The capacitor thing was actually a brilliant idea, but unfortunately that means a lot of them stopped working... They get charged on the track pieces with metal prongs.
    Incredible store thou!

22:17 - I remember having those little red and yellow astronaut guys 35 years ago!!! I also had an all YELLOW BRICK castle - likely one of the very first Lego castle sets ever made.

      @triforce6434 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Paul Hoskins that yellow castle is one of the rarest most desirable sets ever made. You are very lucky to have owned it.
Fun fact: It was made as a micro scale model in 2018 for LEGO’s 60th anniversary!

“The parents teach them the value of the Lego, the value of keeping them together.” My mom just takes the set I spent forever building and slams it into the Lego bin, destroying them and mixing the pieces. I still have all my legos but no completed sets survived intact.

That is not nice of your mom to do that, how old are you? I whould talk to her and tell here that you take a lot of time to make them and, you whould like them to be hole and that ther is a lot of value in them some day maby.

Thanks first of all for the tour, long but really satisfying, what a shop, I wish there were also like that in Italy ..
Congratulations to the owners, especially for the clearly visible passion they put into it.
The only thing missing (or maybe I haven't seen) are the 90's "Adventure's desert" sets like Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins
(5988) or the "Sphinx Secret Surprise" set (5978) which I also jealously guard.
That said, a lot of positive envy for what you have created, the paradise for any Lego enthusiast!
