My daughter and I were there. It was extraordinary. We laughed. We cried. We danced. We met fellow Parrotheads. Everything a Jimmy Buffett concert was. A once in a lifetime event
Original Cincinnati Parrothead here. Took my daughter to her first Buffett concert when she was 5 . As soon as she was old enough she went with friends and a few time with me, every year.
Good for you! I never got the chance to see Jimmy Buffet live, bit always loved his music! It's great to see the legendary Paul McCartney team up with the legendary Eagles band!! Especially on a classic song like Let It Be. What a performance, what a night!❤
This made me cry. Jimmy was a huge staple in my household growing up in Fl. Jimmy is smiling knowing that we are keeping the party going. Jimmy you are a legend and you will always part of our lives. Your music will live on forever. Today happens to be my Brothers death anniversary so I think of him today as Sir Paul sings Let it be. Rip Jimmy and Parke you are both missed. Bubbles up.
It was a magical night with Sir Paul being the last performer and it was very emotional for him to sing the song he sang to Jimmy a short time before he passed. He even thanked Jimmy’s wife, Janie, for helping get the whole tribute show together. Paul’s such a class act and showed such genuine respect and love to our sweet Jimmy B - Bubbles Up Forever
I was there..I would say the answer to your question is no! This is just one special moment..the whole line up was magical.. Zach Brown sang an original song for Jimmy..Oh, my goodness
Yes he sounds like that almost 20 years ago, but he doesn't care, he keeps playing, writing, and touring 3 hours concerts, Paul is like a kid inside an 82 years old man, he just loves to play and make music
So pleasant hearing Paul be honest about his voice, Don, are you paying attention on how to sing honestly to your fans instead of miming to a tape since 2017.

Being there it actually wasn't bad at all. I'm 15 and honestly only showed up to see him because I hadn't gotten to before and I was prepared for the worst but honestly I enjoyed it so much, obviously he's not gonna go and sing oh darling or Helter skelter but he did good with Let it be and I'm glad I saw him do it.
Oh yes let's cancel the guy who gave up his voice for 65+ years screaming hit after hit because isn't rock and roll supposed to be about crooning melodically until you're in the ground -- NOT!!! Go sit down, Stevie.

What's pathetic is that you can't see what's happening here. They are honoring a dear friend and fellow artist who passed in the way he'd, Jimmy, would most appreciate. Try showing a little humanity.
Nobody is trying to do that! People are simply there because they were asked to be there by Jimmy’s wife, Jane. She wanted him to have a tribute concert and invited his friends. Why are you watching exactly?

it was like a funeral to me, all his buddies and did you see who was in the audience??? The eagles seemed cold to me tho.

Sir Paul mccartney with The Eagles as his back up... Was just wow man one of the amazing things happened on earth Rip Sir Jimmy Buffet
If anybody can have the Eagles as their backup band, it should be Paul McCartney! He’s just a legend! Bro revolutionized music with the Beatles!
Actually to be honest and he hasn't lost some that magical voice but it's come better in age
@@batlevi2247 and to have Scott Crago on drums instead of Don, what an honor. Love you Scott! My favorite drummer since 1995. 🥁🪘
A clearly very very emotional Sir Paul, struggling hard to keep it together, singing for his dear friend…..
Yes. Partly. But mostly because his voice just isn't there anymore. Understandable tho. Will always be a legend
He & Jimmy weren’t dear friends, Paul just trying to stay relevant.

Paul was great and authentic, and Joe nailed the solo.
This was one of the best nights of my life. Thank you for capturing this so I can show my mom who was unable to attend.
Glad you enjoyed and I hope she does as well!

He’s lost his voice by singing songs, like Helter skelter and live, and let die and giving three hour concerts for the last 20 years
