Recorded originally in the 60's by a group called The Ludlows..It was during the folk/ballad group boom time..Dublin must have had up to 10 different folk clubs..Everyone could perform or sing at these clubs..No alcohol was served and the singing went on 'till all hours. Paul Brady, Andy Irvine etc were regular visitors...
