Bonus point: When you don’t share your highlights, people will sometimes assume that you don’t have anything going on or that you’ve fallen off. You have to resist the urge to post vacations, accomplishments, etc to prove people wrong.

So true. I watched your videos a few weeks ago and started a social media break. I felt really good mentally. I went on vacation and felt like “I just have to post these pictures and let people know that I went.” I guess I needed people to tell me that my vacation looked nice.

I 1000% agree with the whole moving in silence. My family is overall very private and I’ve taken this into my own life. One tip that I have is to never feel like you owe anybody an explanation no matter who they are (especially some internal and external family members).

I took down the last of my social media last year. My "Family" got mad. Why? Because they wanted to make sure they were outdoing me. They have been talking about me since then and yes, I received a rogue text message when someone accidentally sent something to me, the whole time, my family trashing me. HA! Go be jealous, I'll go be fabulous! ;)

The garlic bread part made me laugh. 😂 Moving in silence is real. I was a newspaper delivery driver turned entrepreneur/business owner and I did that shift in silence. I pretty much disappeared for a year to keep out energies. I'm currently in silent mode as well. I like it better here. ❤

I lived in a strict and toxic home and wasn't allowed to say healthy opinions aloud. I wasn't allowed to learn basic human/adult things like filling out a form, learning to drive, and having a friend. It was not good . I din't realized that is a form of abuse that my dad did to me. Even when I used facts my dad lies and is in denial. Ive learned to move in silence not by choice but for survival. I'm learning to open up to friends but ngl its hard but they have been there for me. ❤I am thankful to God for giving me the strength 🙏 This message resonated with me and I learn from your videos♥

I know right now God is working on me being seen for my calling that he's told me to be obedient too. Here eating some Chinese food & working while catching up on your videos! I agree with you on a lot- I used to overshare/ have transparency just so I wouldn’t be labeled as stuck up or unrelatable or like “Lohra’s life is so perfect vibes.” But over the past year definitely realized people will sometimes use your lows to make themselves feel better about their own selves or as a sense of entertainment. Trust has to be earned- call me unrelatable or my life is perfect… whatever it is… but I’m not going there. We can smile and chit chat about other things until we make it there.

Who knew social media would become a media to compare and contrast and measure the worth of someone’s life? I fortunately never posted my personal life on social media. Now I only post about my business and it has nothing to do with my self esteem. It’s strictly information and then I get to maintain a very private life and my worth is not tied up into it. So i don’t have to wear different faces. I show up as a practitioner and nothing more.
