@@tom_j. well if you were there when it first dropped years before Tik Tok you appreciate it way more. I didn’t say it was ground breaking and her best…. Ultraviolence is literally my favorite album. And I honestly wouldn’t say UV is slept on in the slightest it’s probably her fan favorite album… Take that energy elsewhere 🥴
@@JR_Cargile my point was that I would like her original songs on the album to be more appreciated than this cover which is getting really popular, ultraviolence has so many amazing songs that deserve the love. Btw I also loved the songs before tiktok was a thing, I'm just using it as an example of where the most of the new fans come from
@@tom_j. That I can agree with. Tbh it infuriated me that some of her songs became mainstream tik tok hits. UV has amazing hits obviously like SOC, BB, WC, etc. but Justice for lower streamed songs like Old Money, PWYC, MPG, FMWUTTT, and Guns and Roses.
men can most definitely understand the feelings put across through this song, saying that is completely ignorant. Men have been the other 'woman' (man in this case) so this translates very easily to a man you're just not ready for the conversation that men are just as emotional as women
@@bencruikshank7620 no no no, you got me wrong i think that EVERYONE can feel like the second option, man, women and all others. Man most definitely have emotions, just as strong and just as valuable as women. My point is that this song also reflects social expectations of women. A certain expectations that the average man cannot understand simply because he didn't have to, just like the average woman wont understand the emotional damage that comes with the societal pressures of being a man. This song in my opinion captures perfectly the damage that comes with being a woman and the toxic, self-destructive side of femininity.
@@urinaaman I understand with what you're saying and i agree that it comments on the societal expectations a woman is faced with but i still don't agree that a man cannot see or feel the emotion exhaustion the song emits to the listener.
Once you’ve listened to all of her album tracks, you should listen to each album in full and do videos on your overall thoughts on the albums as a whole. Would love to see how you rank them.
