    This is really surprising specs for the price and the most noticeable thing is symmetrical bezels are cherry on cake. It’s the very rare thing to see in budget phones. Many people don’t care that but the company considered and made it aesthetically beautiful

    I am looking to buy a new phone and the other day I was looking at Oppo Reno 10 pro and foolishly almost finalized it for myself. Thankfully I took a detailed look at specs and realized that for all that money (probably $350 internationally, its 33k rs in India for me) they are offering LPDDR4x Ram and even more infuriatingly UFS 2.2 storage! The processor is garbage for that price as well. The nerve on some of these companies is just amazing! Hope people keep buying only phones like this every single gen to keep the greed of these Corps in check!!!

    Very solid and "value for money device" but I don't understand the moniker "gaming phone". It's a Mediatek Dimensity 8050 chipset similar to the Dimensity 1300. Its performance is between SD 870 and SD 860. And this device limits most games to 60fps. I wish they dialed down the design element and focused more on the chipset used in actual gaming (RedMagic). A chipset like the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 would have been nice. Solid effort overall though.

    • @StyleshStorm
      @StyleshStorm ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The best comment here tbh.
      I have a Black Shark 2 Pro (discontinued earlier Xaomi parent company gaming smartphone) from 2018/2019 and a Poco X3 Pro limited edition Rose Gold variant.
      Snapdragon 855+ and Snapdragon 860 respectively. If this mediatek chipset is between these two and a Snapdragon 870 in most situations that's plenty enough power especially when you consider the $250 affordable price point.
      My only concern is Infinix themselves.
      I've never heard of them until very recently when the new year started only months ago earlier this year.
      I'm not sure how reliable they are. Otherwise it sounds worth owning just for the value itself and it looks gamer designed which at below $500 is unheard until today.

    • @StyleshStorm
      @StyleshStorm ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ultimately though I agree. If you have the money to do it.
      Redmagic is the new current king #1 at gaming smartphones. Almost tempted with the newest Redmagic 8S Pro but my 7S Pro is still much more than powerful enough.
      I like the metal aluminum aviation grade transformers back plate way more on the 7S Pro VS the 8S Pro which only looks like a hunk of metal.

      @skyyy9015 ปีที่แล้ว

      there's more than just a chipset to call it a gaming phone its a "budget gaming phone" "Budget" hence the chipset if they use higher chipset it would cost more......
      if you compare to normal phone this has a better cooling system not to mention "game space" to focus on gaming and the most important part the bypass charger...

    • @StyleshStorm
      @StyleshStorm ปีที่แล้ว

      @@skyyy9015 the chipset is indeed "budget gamer friendly" but budget doesn't equal low quality. it's good performance for how little a person has to pay. If a person purchased a "standard" budget smartphone it'd be a little bit cheaper. perhaps $50 or so less money at around $200.
      But it's worth spending the extra $50 or so because the benefits outweigh the risks.
      + Dedicated game space (Infinix interpretation of the feature. Unknown if it's good or not at optimization like Redmagic Mode/Energy Cube and Black Shark, Shark Space.)
      + BPC which is considered a luxury feature only flagship smartphones usually have. Ultra rare to find such a feature at under $300 price point.
      + Headphone 🎧 Jacks are still not a common feature amongst most leading Brand mainstream tech companies.
      Apple, Samsung and Google are the top 3 worst offenders for removing such a standard legacy feature.

    It's always amazing how some companies can build phones with this much cool stuff for under 300 dollars. But the bigger outfits have to charge triple plus this price just to add a few more quality parts. We know damn well the other outfits pay no more labor for their phones. So its all in parts. So are they trying to tell us chipsets, batteries, and other tiny parts cost them hundreds of dollars more than the company that builds this? And now they aren't even giving us chargers or sometimes even no cable. Sickening.

    Please what's the phone experience. Used an Infinix phone were the number dialled is not displayed under the name of the contact in the call log. If a contact with more than 1 stored number calls you the only way to know the particular number that called you is to dial the number back. You can't also delete individual call history nor check its details. The message app also did not automatically delete a thread that is empty. I quickly sold it.

      @@iluvcakes19 it's a gaming phone, centered on mobile phone gamers, not casual phone users. If more space means more gaming-centered features or bonuses like a bigger battery or a much better cooling system or both or more then there wouldn't be a lot of complaints except from casual phone users who expect a gaming phone to be a day-to-day casual use phone. My two cents tho

    Correct me if I'm wrong but this phone only has one memory 8g x 256g option but instead they gave it an sd card slot instead which makes more sense, i could only wish other phone brands would do the same as well.

      The other phone brand don't want you to buy another manufacturers 256gb storage for $40, they would rather put 256gb extra in another model and charge you $120 for it, 3 times as much

    On par with tecno camon 20 pro 5G. Hopefully infinix does better this time with their benchmarks and software updates like.. I barely get an AnTuTu point increase with my infinix note 30 VIP it's still on 690-710k while my brother's using tecno camon 20 pro 5G and consistently getting 793k points like bro.. this two phone is both powered by D8050 why is infinix's points lower😖
