最初の三川艦隊の戦闘見て、よく“艦艇の戦闘”をこれだけ擬人化キャラの戦闘に落とし込めたなと素直に感心したなぁ

赤城から艦載機が発艦するシーンがかっこいい。
大和さん初めて見た時から思ってたけど主砲発射の時、爆煙で巻き添えになってないのか正直心配。（笑)
0:24の時の第八艦隊の各員の発砲音が何となくリアルな発砲音に聞こえる。そういえば劇場版で第八艦隊との交戦で最後に撃沈されたリ級が血を流して(赤くないので血なのかははっきりしないけど)明るくされた戦場の空を見た時、涙を流しているようにも見えて、劇場版での深海棲艦の扱われ方に興味がわいた。

A lot of scene are actually replicated the later stages of the war after Operation MI, such as battle of Savo Island, Battle of Guadalcanal. Notice certain ship formations are actually based on the real life order of battle.
Except they added all the survivor of Midway battle(nobody sank) and they have significantly more ships in other team.
Still quite satisfied seeing them blasting the Abyssal away.
In the end, they are just blasting eithet their ships or allied ships.

この動画には無いけど、烈風の中隊長が下にいる敵機を指さして、列機がそれにバンクして応えてるところとかも好きだったな。ちょうど2:29と2:31の間にあったシーンだったと思う。
とにかく劇場版は最高だった...妖精さん達もめっちゃかわいいし。

赤城へ攻撃した白いタコヤキ(と呼ばれていると聞いたことが)に瑞鶴が「やらせない!」と吶喊したけど、瑞鶴にはSAMやCIWSは無いはず……。
The entire Kancolle movie is a reference to the Guadalcanal campaign where the first engagement in this clip mirrors the first battle of Savo Island where Mikawa sweepingly sank four Allied Cruisers along with a number of destroyers whom are badly coordinated.
But unlike the real Battle of Guadicanal the Japanese won without losing a single ship. (and even managed to recover one of their sunken ship and put her back into service.)

Ofc they do, movie budgets are quite different than series budgets
Knightmare No.49 I get that, but the jump is incredibly significant. Some of the animation directions are amazing, especially in certain scenes and the dogfights. I believe I am seeing less scenes created using CGI as well, while the scenes that do are way more fluid and well done. For just an increased movie budget it's done a lot.
Auvix different people that animates and directs it I guess? Its pretty common to hire outside staffs for it also they can squeeze the budget really much considering this is just a movie with an hour or two hours (which equals to 3-6 episode in duration) but it kinda makes sense of they hire different people too y'know? I mean by fundings only, Kancolle has lots of them so meaning better people to hire (on the plus side, they improved their CGs and not overusing it too much lol)
The anime and movie was a enjoyable ride

Quach Giang they never appear on the animation, they are kako (black hair chick), tenryuu (the one with eyepatch deflecting enemy shell), aoba (ponytail), choukai (spectacled chick), kinugasa (the one with cool smile), and furutaba (heterochromatic chick)
allied ships are still stuck in browser version, as well other foreign axis ships, we have to wait until season 2
Most ships from the source game aren't in the anime.

I know this is fictional and all, but just wanna remind you from a historical view point, the Rising Sun lost this battle, with Kaga and Akagi got scuttled by fellow cruisers because they deemed them being damaged beyond repair. But I guess since this is an anime finale you gotta have a happy ending for the audience.
Haha they still did! That's what the whole thing is based on-This isn't WW2, this takes place well after the same real WW2 happened that we know, and the enemy is a "Silent Hill"-style reflection of the the ships trying to trap them in a loop reliving their sinking together for eternity, as well as just trying to fuck up humanity for creating and abandoning them.
The anime is noncommittal about setting because of people's headcanons, but the game all but spells it out that it's in the present day, and that the boss enemies are the real historical ships themselves that sank in the real WW2, back for revenge.
音と映像だけで見ごたえすげーな

そう言えば加賀と瑞鶴の背丈。加賀の方が背が高い(瑞鶴はブーツのヒールで高さ増しているからもっと低い)のだが、史実の空母加賀、瑞鶴だと実は瑞鶴の方が全長が長い。ただ全高だと多分加賀が上かも。

後部の白帯部分にまで桜の花びら書いてるのかがコマ送りでも見づらいからわかりにくいけど、見える部分だけで横に９、縦に３、4列目に３つ、なのでこの段階で少なくとも岩本妖精だけで３０機は撃墜してる。マジエースですわ。
