I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. At that point, I moved to Junction City, WI with my wife Sara and two boys Hank and Duke. I've been fishing professionally since 2011 and full-time since 2015. I've qualified for seven MLF Championships and won over a half million in tournament winnings at the professional level.

I know your vide is about the Money Bager but one thing I observed at the 2:56 mark of the video: you secure first the bait, then you secure the smallmouth. That is awesome and a truetextbook example of removing baits with treble hook like these. 👍
i dont want one in my hand! Id rather lose the fish then deal with a hook in my hand. thats no fun!
Man that bait looks great, and it is money! how deep does it dive? I'm glad you were able to catch 3 so the boys could go to the playground! Oh Hank did a great job holding the camera! I'm going check them out, to me it like you were stroking on the retrieve!👍🎣
definitly not stroking. id call it a sweep motion. they have several sizes that dive from about 6 - 12 ft.
Hey Matt I saw a underwater video of the money badger and I've done some homework about the bait and I'm not a Berkeley or strike king guy I like wood crankbaits. Anyway you guys did a nice job Matt building this ceankbait great deflection different type of wobble compared to your average ceankbait I'll have to pick up a few . God bless.

Hank and Duke. Everytime I hear you mention their names it brings a smile to my face. Nobody gives their kids traditional names anymore and it's sad. Anyway I've definitely got to try some of these. One thing I need to get better at is fishing in cold water. Mainly in the early spring/late winter. Fall is not so much of a problem.

Bro, that bait looks amazing. I just have not done well with rock crawlers or wiggle warts. I have done decent on the azuma version of the wiggle wart. But last time I went out to fish deep rock for smallies, I ended up taking off the rock crawler and putting on a frittside 9 and did well. this looks like a wart killer......... can't wait to try it.

Im a big fan cranking, have try them out. Leaves are starting to change color down here no is southern SC. Being from OH I'm used to leaves changing way earlier! They were biting yesterday caught 9 largemouth & 2 more jump off. I love fall fishing, I've always done well in the fall!

I just picked up a Clickin’ Frittside today in that same Firetail Green Craw color. What a great-looking color!
I don't see the dollar sign tho. The bottom of my Frittside with that paint job has those same designs on the underside. Isn't that just part of the crawfish look?

Great Video Matt and enjoy the time out with the boy's while they are young. I miss when my children were that age as they are both young teenagers now. The Money Badger looks like the deal for sure! Crossing my fingers we get them up here in the True North at the 3 main tackle shops I go to maybe by Christmas/Boxing Day and if not for sure by early 2023 and maybe on a couple of Canadian online tackle stores I check out too. Just checked out Berkley's website and there are 7 colours I really want to add to my crank arsenal if I can get them. All the best!

it casts better and dives faster and deeper...but feels just like a wart on the retrieve. Im loving it so far! Dont get me wrong the old prerapala wiggle warts are money too...but they cost an arm and a leg

Looks good but replace the wart? I still throw warts both old and new and rock crawlers. Subtle differences is the name of the game often. They all have their place 😎

Question : I’m tired of losing my megabass jerbait in the mouth of pikes , if i put a steal leader on my jerbait rod , is it affecting the quality and quantity of bass catching ? I have small mouth , pikes and walleye in my river , my ligne is 10 pounds fluro

Seems to me there was a bit of a delay after you caught that 3rd fish between that time and getting to the park. What's up with that! Does that thing have a curved bill like one of the rappala Baits?
haha! i may have tried to catch one or two more but they were not having it. a deal is a deal haha! Its curved on the sides but not from the nose to the tip of the diving lip.

May i ask what rod you were using? Looking for rods to throw the most baits. Kicking around going for the local BFL series as a co-angler next spring. Looks like a nice alternative to the W Wort or Rock crawler. Priced where you can throw it into the nasty stuff. Thanks

hope your kids git on pfd's.its scary how fast a kid can vanish underwater.i love fishin but i fish on land no boat now. i dont have any winrer fish exp.but i have xaughr a few in vold weather on spinnerbaits anx recently on swimbaits.
