Mozart composed 13 serenades throughout his career, but his final is by far the best-known. Eine kleine Nachtmusik (German for “A Little Night Music”) has become one of Mozart’s most iconic compositions. Despite its popularity, Eine kleine Nachtmusik wasn’t published until 1827, many decades after Mozart’s death.
