    Back in the 80s I never thought effects like this could be possible with the good ol' C-64 ... wow!

    Wow - I never in a million years thought I'd hear a SID rendition of King Crimson's 'I talk to the wind' - very well done !!! Great GFX too :)

    Thats a particular high resolution for a C64. Nice job.

    Music from 8:00 sounds like a real 303. Hard to believe it's coming from a c64.

    Think what games, these guys, could have made, back then, if they knew, how to code like this.
    Great work !!

    I said it before and i am saying it again...Demo coders need to get together with game developers and create stunning games......

    • @BitcoinmeetupsOrg123
      @BitcoinmeetupsOrg123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agree. At the very least, hire the demo coders to make intros for games.

    • @kodiak64
      @kodiak64 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@BitcoinmeetupsOrg123 I think the big issue is demo coders are effects-oriented and so don't have to worry about game AI, player inputs, etc and can use huge amounts of CPU time for their effects, many or most of which would consume too much RAM and CPU time to be of use in games.

    • @ownageDan

      iirc the founders of DICE (battlefield) started out in the demoscene

    • @FairLight1337
      @FairLight1337 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The main coder of this demo is also a professional game programmer. You have seen his work in the EA Battlefield series. So it's not like these are two different worlds.

      @@gazzaka oh well, I did it again and this time it worked! But I have an other "problem": if I start it on a C128 (C64 mode) and use an SD2IEC then I get only a red screen after "RUN" and nothing happens anymore... Is it an issue with C128 (c64 mode) or SD2IEC?
