What is it with people letting their relatives into their house just to get yelled at and insulted? I would’ve called the cops instead of letting those bozos disrespect me in my own home. The OP needs to work on enforcing no contact with his parents.
No kidding. "I had no choice but to let them in as it was a weekend" nahh it's called putting on some headphones and ignoring them or telling them to fukk off before you call the cops.
What is wrong with all of these people in these stories? It's always the most selfish and entitled people who have the nerve to call other people selfish. Like what the actual F.
It's cute that parents like this expect their kid like OP will completely drop all the ab*se and mistreatment to help out. As far as I'd be concerned they can all fukk off. OP was an after thought to his parents and wanted an easy bail out of the responsibilities and consequences they themselves created. They were so eilling to accept the cheating relationship which leads me to believe the mother or father cheated at one point in their relationship. If they were so accepting at the time then they can accept their new grandchild as their responsibility had the parents never woken up.
With all of the disrespect the OP was willing to put up with instead of leaving and going no contact, if i was there, i wouldve started supporting the cheaters too. 😅
Thank you for the warning. Will not bother watching this story, I can spend 18 minutes on something better. Can't stand stories where the victim is weak and pathetic instead of growing a backbone.
@mannydcbianco the OP did in fact not forgive his brother or ex. He chose to move on and accept it as a fact to find peace. He did go meet his nephew but went little contact after that.
s1: holy spineless.... your parents took the cheater and the brother's side why are you still talking to them? they called you to take care of the cheaters baby? how do you not instantly hang up the phone?
"I had to let them in." No, you didn't. You keep the door closed and locked, and threaten to call the police if they don't leave. There is not a single thing in life that you HAVE to do, and you certainly don't have to be a doormate for anyone wanting to walk all over you.

this is the only time "thoughts and prayers" are actually good to give
Some people BORN do be suckers!! god!!
OP parents just don't want to raise the kid. It's pretty weird to expect a single guy to take care of a 2 month old kid
His parents just don't care about op at all, and are selfish and shit.. good that op has self-respect
It's very simple when both Ron and Kim ask OP to look after their kid he'd think about it.

It's called "creative writing" and authors can't comprehend human emotions

If that was me "ing what my mom would say call me when they are die"

Unfortunately they lived

Some people are fools that think the fact they're family actually matters.
I would have told them to leave or I'm calling the cops. This guy is a sap.

Weak resolve should have disowned the lot on the spot
"Who gives a fook?!"
