A Fun Day at Sea on the Carnival Horizon

On our first day at sea we enjoyed Sea Day Brunch then hung out at Dr. Seuss' Waterworks where we rode all the waterslides. After a day in the sun we went to Cloud 9 Spa and relaxed in the hydrotherapy pool and different thermal suites that the spa has (included in our Spa floor room). We ended the evening with drinks at The Alchemy Bar before main dining room dinner, then went for a night cap at The Atrium bar.

Did you pay extra to go into the spa?

Usually you do have to pay extra for spa access. It varies on each ship but for this cruise we chose a spa-level state room which gives you free access to the spa for the whole cruise. The spa-level rooms are a little more expensive but it's cheaper to do this rather than get a regular room and pay extra for spa access.
