After checking out of the Alyeska Resort in Girdwood we went to visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. I would highly recommend this if you're ever in the area. We took a snowmobile tour out to Spencer Glacier near Girdwood, Alaska. We were staying at Alyeska Skii Resort and were picked up for the tour by Alaska Wildlife Adventures. After I flew into Anchorage, Alaska my mom and I drove down to Girdwood where we spent the next few days at the beautiful Alyeska Skii Resort. Downtown Knoxville is a beautiful city. We spent the day walking around Market Square, Gay Street, and The Old City. We drove over to Kona from Hilo to spend the weekend at The Royal Kona Resort. We enjoyed the beautiful beaches at Kua Bay, walked around downtown Kailua-Kona, then went to Waikaloa and had lunch at Lava Lava Beach club. Mahalo for watching! We got ours here: hawaiicounty.ehawaii.gov/camping/all,e-search.html and then printed it and brought it with us camping but to be honest no one ever came to check our permit. Still good to have it just in case. Have a blessed day!

Random stranger here. I just came across your video and I gotta say it almost made me cry. Happy cry. 47 years ago I did a solo bike tour on the islands. Camped out for a week here in back of the pavilions. Some young guys were living on their grandmother's property across from the pavilions and they took me in. Fed me. Showed me around. I even remember a secret swimming pool they went to. It's weird how old memories work. I can still see their faces. It was beyond wonderful. I also remember them fighting the good fight to keep some resort nearby from expanding. I hoped they won. Looks like they did. Keep enjoying your life.
