@@drgabi18, oh wow, too bad i didn't even know about this company's existence before yesterday. what am i going to do if such a colossal and important brand no longer ships their crap to my country? (sarcasm).
This is beyond childish in my opinion, the way they write has a weirdness to it (especially the "zombie" part) that makes me think this person might genuinely have some mental issues.
Holy shit the pricing. Hadn't heard of them before, but they're pretty much scammers.
Someone being out of college fir two years can be better and easier to work with than most senior devs.
get the entire country of canada banned from some crappy laptop seller with this one weird trick
These dudes started at ground level and somehow went through bedrock without finding a single ore along the way
btw the guy that runs malibal is in his mid 40s
Jesus Christ, they’re just like car insurance in the uk for young drivers, they just don’t want the fucking business lmao
Didn't know System76 was from Colorado. I'm moving there so that's awesome!
The irony of criticising Christian for their spelling mistakes, then proceeds to type "jsut" instead of "just" at 3:05 💀
They claim Christians writing was like from a 12-year old while acting like a twelve year old. Pretty petty if you ask me.
Well, thank you for putting up this video lol, I know which company to stay away from completely, hopefully they don't come for you, get abusive and then threaten legal action against you like they did for some other person that reviewed their laptops LOL.
thats one goofie business strategy
Love companies like this, they out themselves on their own website so you know to avoid them
your not buying a laptop from them, your buying an experience
You couldn't even make this up if you tried
Malibal banned your country for a petty dispute? Easy answer: don't buy Malibal.
In my experience, people who often go on long rants or tirades, where everyone but them are idiots or incompetent, while calling others sociopaths, are usually THE sociopaths.
man they self-nuked their own company, and this is so funny 😂
And now I'm reminded of poor ol' Terrence A. Davis, may he Rest in Peace.
where will they even sell the laptops when they ban entire countries due to potentially one person being shitty?
The entire world is banned for life from buying Malibal products lol.
"I don't like this person so I decided to throw away a bunch of potential money and customers"
They seem pretty expensive
Plot twist: the Malibal support agent turns out to be Linus Torvalds
💀💀💀
Ban the whole world speedrun Any%
Thank god they banned germany, so no one has to deal with this nightmare.
If everyone is an asshole. Maybe you just might be the asshole? (I hope YT doesn't remove this comment)
EDIT: Noticed in the last seconds it say they're permanently closed?
well surely stopping business with the richest country in europe isn't *that* smart
the company has been shadow operating for awhile. the physical location doesn't even exist anymore. its a tea shop. I find it hilarious that they really think someone is going to buy their drop shipped horse shit computers at this point and might as well give up trying to make their business. especially if they are so ass-hurt that they cant take someone saying "i think it could be better" like wow i feel like the narc behavior on this company is unparalleled since most corpos don't try to actively make their business smaller and less effective out of simple ego. even AMD and Intel have teamed up recently and their companies have been in a feud since basically their inception. so i just feel like this guy thinking he has something going when really he is a drop shipping rusted bucket is pretty fucking hilarious. since this guy clearly has no qualms insulting or harassing people, i wont back down either xD anyway, more drop shippers are uh... "dropping out" since the market is becoming over saturated now. which i feel is a blessing pretty much regardless. especially if the owner of the operation doesn't actually have anything to do with the products themselves.
anyone has a full list of places that are banned? its gotta be long and hillarious
Next announcement: “why we are going bankrupt”
the title is perfectly unhinged and fun great video being entertained and laughing along
banning an entire country is actually childish
I'm glad I use laptops made by people like Lenovo because I wouldn't wanna deal with a company like that plus I couldn't get a laptop from them anyways since they banned the whole ass state of Colorado like a bunch of children
I wouldn't be surprised if the CEO is a 5 year old kid
they are just a reseller. as if they can manufacture anything
This is so unbelievably funny 😂 I refuse to believe it’s real world events and not just a skit 😂 the most childish thing I’ve ever seen 😭
- None of the people criticizing them own their laptops… oh gee, I wonder why that is and if they're related. 🙄
- Their deranged "policy" is extremely abusable. A troll can troll them and get the whole planet banned and run them out of business… 15:52 oh, wait, Bing said "permanently closed". Mission accomplished. 😂
- At first, I was on their side about the bad experiences with developers, but they lost that support in a nanosecond. 😒
- He accuses others of having a bad attitude. 🙄 Ever notice how only rectal-fissures need to make accusations in a mirror?
- He bans people for not being happy with their bad service. He's the kind of guy who would sue people for not liking him. So… he's definitely an Elon Trump simp. 😒
- So… someone outside of California has to leave their laptop at home if they go to California for a vacation? 🤨
- I'd get my country banned, but it's already banned. Maybe I should move to another country… 🤔
Bankrupting your company by hating everyone Any% speedrun.
I've never heard of them before.
I thought unhinged would mean funny, now I'm just disappointed that these guys exist.
Nice, a laptop company I've never heard of, and will never patronize.
I don't think coreboot is as obscure as you're making it out to be. Afaik it's used on pretty much all chromebooks
coreboot is obscure when it's not even 1% of the bios market (AMI is more than 90% marketshare). Chromebooks benefited from some google expertise to implement it.
@@PainterVierax Sure, it's "obscure" compared to AMI firmware but it's far from some niche hobby project that almost nobody uses. There are a lot of chromebooks in use and afaik all of them (since ~2013) run coreboot.
@@alarii2582 chromebook is a niche market as well. And again this is google's putting leverage, just like they did on Linux, adb, or uboot.
Outside of Google, only a couple of small companies provide coreboot on at least a significant part of their machines and I'm pretty confident there is more Insyde or Phoenix solutions outside than coreboot ones. Most of those companies are not well known even from the tech-enthousiasts community or when they are highlighted in media it's generally for things unrelated to coreboot (eg. the actual hype for PopOS) so yeah it's mostly a known project inside the FLOSS community.
@@alarii2582 can't properly answer. yt is a shitty place to discuss
_"You wouldn't download a bios"_
Can we make a campaign to try and make them ban as many states and countries as possible? I think it'd be absolutely hilarious to see like 99% of all regions banned from buying mediocre dropshipped laptops.
Was about to send an email asking who supplies their drugs but I can't without an account and I only have a gmail lol never gonna find that good shit
1216 usd for a 13th gen intel i5, integrated graphics, 8gb of ram, 500gb ssd, 14 inch 2880x1800 and god knows how many hz, 53WH battery and to top it off forced warranty. Bro i got a 12th gen i7 with a 3070 ti and 16gb of ram for 1800 bux 3 years ago (on sale but prob cheaper nowadays) like fuck? Just buy a framework atp. If their entire brand is centered around repair ability and freedom you’ll have a way better expierence with framework because they do offer amd versions and dont have a huge inflated ego.
I've never even heard of these mfs, lmao. Not a big loss. And with that kind of PR? Probably not a big loss for the industry as a whole!
I just finished watching the vod.... I felt my IQ drop trying to understand the logic behind .... well every action talked about in the vod. I ... I still don't even.
😬
their loss
now where are some laptop hinges that they removed?
I'm gonna work on getting Hungary banned on their website
They banned Liechtenstein 😭
I'm from germany and that's absolutely hilarious
hmmm, something tells me that malibal's link gonna get flagged as malware somewhere today
мамибал
The Linux community tends to attract some very strange people (like me). This is pretty much exactly the kind of behavior I'd expect out of a Linux laptop manufacturer 😂
