    the explanations are very clear, precise, i went through the ones on plastics, deformation.
    There's a lot more that could be done.
    A design step-up would be helpful in many ways.
    A little more dynamic feel to concepts and graphs is easily achievable through use of python/css. (Rhett Allain who writes for WIRED.com on physics uses nice gifs and embeds actual scripts to make things more interactive)
    Plus if you has a script ready, you won't have to say 'sorry'/'ok' again and again. (This would require a rehearsal on your part).
    But a sincere effort I'd say!
    Keep up the good work!

    During the calculation of load in plastic analysis in the three bar case, you said when any one bar(in this case the middle bar) yields, we can further increase the load until the other two bar yields. So when we further increase the load until the remaining two bars yield, won't the middle bar which yielded first will experience more load than the other two bars? If that happens then the calculation of load for the middle bar should be done by more stress which will give more force and hence the total load for plastic analysis will increase. Please clarify in this regard! Thanks!

      That is the whole idea of plastic analysis, we are loading the system till all the 3 bars reach their maximum level or till the system fails by breaking.

    Why are you stressed the beam beyond yield platue

    • @DCBAonline
      @DCBAonline  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because in real life scenario many times materials are stressed beyond yield point.
