I've been a P.Eng. for over 25 years and I just finally understand plastic moment theory. You explained it so well and your diagrams are top shelf. Thank you!
Many thanks for such a simplified explanations on the basic concept of Plastic Hinge formation. After completed 31years of services as Civil Engineer it is good to revisit these basic Structural Analysis Lectures.
Thank you for this useful information..Plastic load can also be called fasting load as it happens rapidly.. if properly not warned and resins used it may lead to sudden collapse
Thank you for the great lecture video. Could you please post some videos on the moment distribution method, conjugate beam and slope deflection method for indeterminate structure?
If a beam is fixed from both end then there will be 6-3 = 3+1 =4. I know that hinges will occur at each end and one in the middle. Don't know where would be the 4th one?
Hello doctor. i just finished my license, i am very interested and would like to do the same professional careers as you. is it possible to know which specialty did you do a master? in phd?I got an internship in a structural design agency. I also have some design gaps, what to do to fill them. thank you

I’m not even a civil engineering student but I understood this very well! Mashallah and barakallah! Thank you so much
Nice promotion
Thank you so much Dear instructor thank you for your help I very enjoyed your lectures
Thank you. Please share with your colleagues and ask them to subscribe to receive all new videos.
Er.Gamal
Great explanation which clarified all
Doubts.
Thxs.
Explanations are very straightforward and easily comprehended. Much thanks sir!

بارك الله فيك دكتور على هذا الشرح الجيد
حفظك الله دكتور و بارك الله فيك
Thank you so much sir, I didnt understant the concept until I watched this, can you please do virtual work theory next.
Thank you.....super simple and informative way of presentation.
You are welcome 😊
Thanks for simple explantion!. Totally helpful to understand what plastic hinge is.
You are welcome!
What a nice explanation sir ....
No words to explain your praise sir,...
God bless you sir.... ❤️❤️
So nice of you
Great explanations throughout. Thank you!
Thank you so much! Perfectly explained!
Hello there
The Analysis that we do it in the software Analysis and Design program is it plastic or elastic Analysis?
how may I get these lecture slides? please if you can arrange thank you
Thank you very much sir. You are wonderful
Thank you for the great lecture video. Could you please post some videos on the moment distribution method, conjugate beam and slope deflection method for indeterminate structure?
I will do. Thank you for your interest.
thank you, Dr, for all that work, but please can I know your reference book? thank again for your hard-working
Thankyou sir! This lecture of your's helped me a lot!!
Sir one question, how to know the R value, can you attach me link or explanation . Thank you.
والله انك جدع بارك الله فيك
I think the shape factor can be elastic moment / plastic moment
Thank you very much sir for the lectures...really enjoyed it
Nicely explained, Thank you
بارك الله فيك
Thank you so much sir the video was really educative.
Application of plasticity in practical life
What is importance of plasticity in steel structure?.
well explained thank you
you are the best sir
Mashalah Dr.
please share with us Steel Design
Subscribed Sir
Dear sir
We really need design of retaining wall and shear wall , if you record this two topic it will be beneficial for us
Thank you
We will try.
Thanks it is good keep it up!!!
Thank you..sir..great work..

I know that hinges will occur at each end and one in the middle. Don't know where would be the 4th one?
In such case 3 will be enough to have a collapse
You’ve made my life so much easier wow
This was awesome
It is very interesting video
Great Teaching

Can you solve the collapse load for unsymmetrical column (since column there is no loading).
No problem. I can add a video about this.
nice explaination
Thank you for sharing this.
Happy to help
Great tutorials... Could you recommend books for further reading, each related to the topic of the video?
Where are you from.

Well explained
Thank you. Happy to hear that.
بالتوفيق وجزاك الله خير دكتور
Thank you
so helpful.....
Thanks 👍
thanks
It is my pleasure.
I wanna ask you some questions about structure
Will be happy to answer any questions.
Thank u doc
thank you sir
Most welcome
many thnx
Thanksssss !
i think n = r -1
Legend
السالم عليكم دكتور على اي اساس اعتبرت ال R مرة واحد مرة اثنين ومرة صفر ؟
Am i the only one who can hear no audio/explaination?
Not understand
Hi sir
Please provid .pdf i will be very thankful to you.😍
