This is PSA's fault for grading these types of cards. They do this for sports cards that aren't real Topps, etc cards - Custom Cards or some such. Baseball Card Collector Investor Dealer went through this with Auto Sports cards a bit ago.
I think it's a label issue. There is a blue label they use to use. It's almost like they need to do that again or something that clearly says, auto only grade, surface is not authentic or we aren't grading that
i agree. because when time goes on, we are gone, people won't know the differences. they trust grading companies. any grey area its all assumptions leading to more and more issues.
