88 Films will be releasing more Jet Li, Jackie Chan and Shaw Brothers movies on 4K UHD and Blu-ray. This is a rundown of the upcoming titles that we know about coming out soon and later on down the road in 2024.
Fist of Legend (1994) starring Jet Li directed by Gordon Chan.
To Kill with Intrigue ( 1977) with Jackie Chan directed by Lo Wei.
The Spiritual Boxer, Part II (1979) with Wong Yue and Gordon Liu.
Magnificent Bodyguards (1978) with Jackie Chan presented in 3D.
Tai Chi Master (1993) starring Jet Li with Michelle Yeoh
To Kill a Mastermind (1979) directed by Sun Chung from Shaw Brothers.
The Golden Lotus (1974) with Jackie Chan.

TO KILL A MASTERMIND is a hidden gem. It was on the ZiiEagle box a long time ago but wasn’t restored till a few years ago. I have a 4K file of it from.a Chinese cable airing. No English subs just Chinese subs. It looks amazing.
Without going into the entire production history, Sun Chung wanted to try and imitate Chang Cheh by attempting to create new action stars out of newcomers. Among these were two of Lo Mang’s younger brothers. The plot is a mixture of AVENGING EAGLE and FIVE VENOMS with some spy intrigue added.
SPIRITUAL BOXER 2 is Liu Chia Liang’s worst movie next to CAT VS RAT, imo. GOLDEN LOTUS is a Li Han Hsiang movie. Chu Mu, who gave Chan his first big break, introduced him to Director Li so he put him in his movie. Chan though, wanted to do action and not erotica. So he did choreo on SUPERMEN AGAINST THE ORIENT then moved on elsewhere.
The only one I’m really interested in is MASTERMIND and maybe the GHOST STORY trilogy. I remember the first one being very entertaining.
