    These tips are great Erin! As a Disney World cast member, two of the questions I get asked most frequently are about Fast Passes and MagicBands. I hear every single day, multiple times a day that guests only get three Fast Passes per day. You can actually book one new Fast Pass at a time after you've used those first three. I tell guests all the time that if you can book your three reservations close together or back to back, you can end up with five or six in one day. High ticket FPs can sometimes drop at random times during the day. Sometimes 7AM, 9AM, 10AM. It just depends. But if you really can't get certain FPs and you really want those big rides, I would highly recommend going to the Disney After Hours events at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Little to no wait times, free popcorn, ice cream, and drinks all night - completely worth it!
    Also, your MagicBand doesn't hold a credit card rather your room charge. A lot of guests think MagicBands hold a credit card, but that room charge is obviously reserved for those who stay on property. Just some other things from a cast member! :]

      I love the after hours tip! I’m not sure my kids could have handled staying up that late, but maybe when they are a bit older we will go back and try those. Thank you!!!

    Thanks Erin!! The last time I went to Disney world was in 1991. I had no idea it had changed so much. This was great information. You saved people alot of aggravation who are planning on going.

    Girl, we go to WDW once or twice a year and have for over 16 years....yes, I know, we need an intervention. One thing that we do is the special tours. An example is “Ultimate Nights of Adventure” in the Animal Kingdom. For less than 1 hour of the VIP tour, you ride all the great rides, including Flight of Passage, have a light dinner, they call a snack, no lines for anything, and end with VIP seating for Rivers of Light. No fast passes needed. There are lots of magic after hours tours. The one for the Magic Kingdom is in the evening, not crowded, & can easily ride all the good stuff with little to no waits. Again, much less than 1 house of VIP tour. Just FYI for ur next trip.

    After you use your first 3 fast passes you can get additional same day fast passes on the fly. You choose the first 3 fast passes for the busiest rides (as you say) keeping in mind Tiering (no tiering at Magic kingdom)and try and have your first FastPass set end early by lunchtime. Once you tap in to your third FastPass you can get a FastPass right away for your fourth ride and so on. You can get additional fast passes while you are in the FastPass line for that third attraction. Also after your third FastPass you can book fastpasses in another park if you have park hoppers. Another way to ride lines without long lines are special ticketed events like early morning magic.

    Wow! Disney has gotten so complicated. We have gone so many times (most recent was 4 years ago). My best advice is to go off season. We have never bought a fast pass. The weather is perfect and the staff is so much more relaxed and even happier if you can imagine that. We go in September or October.

    We've been wanting to take our kiddos to Disney for awhile. However, the fact it is SO complicated is a HUGE deterrent for me. Moms are busy enough,planning a trip shouldn't be like planning a wedding. That said, I found your tips very helpful- thanks Erin. Glad your family had fun.

    • @BusbeeStyle
      @BusbeeStyle  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear you and it is complicated... however the planners are a free service to make it easier. It’ll be interesting to talk to my kids in a couple years to hear what their memories are and if they are mostly positive.

      It is LEGIT complicated. It made my head spin and I was truly overwhelmed. I hope this video will help other first timers like me navigate the parks... and truly enjoy the magic. If you don't have a plan, I fear the magic will fade pretty quickly!

    • @BusbeeStyle
      @BusbeeStyle  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I always thought the kids had to be pretty small still for Disney, but I am rethinking that logic after our trip. I would WAIT until your grandkids are tall enough to ride most rides... like space mountain, around 48 inches and around 7 years old ( 9 and 7) Unless you want to stroller them around everywhere and be VERY limited on ride choices, I think it makes sense to wait.

    • @pamelaandpabloortiz6250
      @pamelaandpabloortiz6250 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh we will wait FOR SURE , but I could have never imagined how much planning it would take for making this trip doable . Thank you again for all your insight !

    someone probably already commented this: you can also book your 4th fast pass after using your 3rd. and you can book your 5th after using your 4th, and your 6th after your 5th. of course, your list of available rides decreases, and you want to start early, but you can still get onto 6 rides with your 3 fast passes. we went into air conditioned rides/shows in between, too! my friend did the VIP tour with her extended family and its amazing for groups.

    • @BusbeeStyle
      @BusbeeStyle  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Jami! That’s great to know!! Personally, I wouldn’t want to monkey around with that. It took all of my energy to keep kids going and happy. I think trying to book last minute fast passes would have stressed me out. And, agreed! The VIP tour would be amazing for a group and much more economical if split between more people,
