I remember in the last week of school in year 8, one of the teachers put Trackmania on the computers of a certain room and the whole room was racing and competing for the best times. Good times.
I've been aching for a new Trackmania game for years and now Im finally getting it for my Xbox! Trackmania 1/2/Nations were a huge part of my childhood
It´s awesome you guys know playstation access. When Jane said "your nemesis" it was fucking hilarious. It seems like Mike needs to step up his driving abilities, i can´t believe it
It is necessary to press the "down" during the flight to stop the rotation of the machine and to stabilize it (this applies to the end of the first track on the video)
Lankey Bastard "Do you build the tracks?" - yes, there is an ingame map editor, maps can be uploaded on a site created for that. Then they can be picked up and played by other players either in single player or multiplayer. There are aproximately 1 000 000 tracks in older trackmania games. "Is it multiplayer?" - the game was originally created for e-sport, so is mainly multiplayer based and there are no colisions. All players have the same car and the same conditions! You rely only on your own skill. You have a lot of servers, for each type of driving style: FullSpeed, Tech, RPG, LOL. Most of the servers are Time Atack. Everyone playing, has a determined by the server time, to make his better time possible on the current map.(the time you play on each map, depends of the lenght of the map, for example if the map is 30-45 seconds long, most of the time, you will have 5-6 mins, to make your best time on it) When this time runs up, the player who made the best time wins the map, and gains a ranking on the server and a rank in the world ladder (by gaining ladder points) Everyone is trying there, to make it in to the top of world record times. Very challenging. "Is it a career mode?" - (seen in this gameplay) Career mode is just a bunch of maps, created by the developers, in wich you have to win the Gold medals on the first map in order to open the second one, and so on. But it's getting from easy to hard as f*ck. "Do we customize the cars?" - you can only paint your car in the game. No other customization. Also you can download car skins and use them. But even if you download a Ferrari Enzo for example, it will still run the same as the default car, because it's a skill based game, not a "who payed most to have a good car" game.
The only thing left on this game is the splash and waves forming in the water when you fall on it with your car at huge speeds. That annoys me a great deal.
can't wait to get my hands on the editor. Really hoping the tracks are multi platform though (custom tracks built on pc playable on xbox/ps and vice versa)
I wonder if they will carry over fullspeed and all those servers and I am curious as to how it handles. Will pick it up for xbox or ps4 even though I have been playing trackmania for years on pc (own them all lel)
"Now you can play it professionally?" Because it's on console? I mean yeah it's a racing game, but the physics really don't hurt keyboard much at all. I've used a xb360 controller on it(s predecessor) and prefer keyboard, it's not like Grid1 or Grid Autosport where a controller really benefits you(vs a keyboard).
Is it just me or does anyone else think outsidexbox and playstation access should combine to make one super channel. Come on how awesome would that be ;-) :-D
What'sup??? The Wii version of Trackmania was developed by Firebrand Studios, and this game is developed by Nadeo. Nadeo is the studio that originated the game and made every version on PC. So it's quite a big step for them to be taking on consoles with their own studio. And it'll also result in the console versions being much closer to the gameplay experience we know and love on PC. :) Very exciting times.
CamoCam0 Hi Camo, i think i can answer your doubts. I'm a professional Trackmania driver from Team Acer, and i play a gamepad myself (PS3 Dualshock 3 gamepad). Pads are used a lot, and people steer with the analogue stick. It's really accurate and worth driving. Keyboard is also possible which i used at the beginning of my career. It's as good as a pad, so don't worry abuot that, but driving with a pad makes you sit more relaxed (no pain in fingers or smth by pressing the keys all the time). A gamepad with a stick works out fine, and i hope i answered your doubts by saying a gamepad is great playing with, and a keyboard is fine as well. Both are good :)
Acer Koenz Wow, a constructive and informative comment on TH-cam? Don't see that everyday. I always found gamepad more difficult and was more comfortable on keyboard as that is what I started playing on, but I'm not playing at any kind of professional level. I don't really have the playtime to practice enough on both. It's just personal preference I guess.
The TrackMania community is usually very friendly, no doubts about that :) Additionally to Koenz' post it's worth mentioning that a gamepad (it's analog stick to be precise) offers way more precision compared to a keyboard. Especially in Rollercoaster Lagoon, which looks to be very twitchy handling-wise, a gamepad might come in very handy for small, smooth trajectory adjustments which are usually a back-and-forth with a keyboard. But in the end it's indeed personal preference. Hope to see you on track soon!
Agreed with AccelTM. And well i just saw your comment comming by haha. Additional on AccelTM (this will be a kinda explanation of what he said): with keyboard you will be able, same as in TMNF/TM2S etc, to steer ''precise'' by tapping the left/right key and there fore make kinda little corners every time you press the key. But as Accel is saying, the car looks twitchy, and on keyboard if you steer it's 100% left or right. That's why players are tapping the keys when theres a corner that they don't need to steer 100%, that's what you should do in this gamemode as well. With a gamepad however, you can steer the analogue stick like 50%, and keep it stable during the corner, so you don't have to tap. Therefore you might be more consistent with your car handling and make the car less twitchy, compared with the keyboard. Ty accel for the additional infos, what he said is completely true =]
Well if it will support custom tracks as the pc version I am in. But as we know consoles are closed for that things... as for me it should be cross platform
Matrix_ PC and Nintendo Wii :D anyway, if you are a developer looking for LOTS of money, would you drag the 2005 PC gameplay into a next gen console only adding endearing graphics? i think yes
I got very big doubts about the future of this game. Look, if you compare how much Canyon and Valley have been worth for Nadeo, i can be available to say and confirm that this game will be an entire fail. I am enthusiastic for sure, when you make part of the TM community for over 8years now, i just want to get this game reborn, with new people and a lot of players. But i guess it's over, Nadeo just killed itself by joining Ubi imo. See ya anyway on the TM Turbo roads, but i will be sure to not seeing all of you keep your entertained smile behind this video as behind the real gameplay. Cheers
Ali drake The PC version is a digital download via Uplay or Steam. According to the Ubishop, the PS4 and XO versions of the game are "boxed", so I guess that means Bluray.

Another Ubisoft game that looks really cool.
They surprised the hell out of me this year.
Thomas Medina It's made by NADEO, ubisoft provided graphic engine, that's all.
Aurora Engine is made by Nadeo as well
Then I'm suprised aswell, all the applause tho should go to Nadeo not Ubi.
Aurora Ubisoft only publish the game. The game Engine is made by Nadeo
***** I realised, and I'm impressed.
We can learn a thing or two from Outside Xbox playing on Playstation
+JeffFruitFa That it doesn't matter which fucking console you use?
+Joey Pistachio yes
Just when u thought track mania was dead. Thank god that it isn't
The tropical environment is like a mix of a Island and Coast environments of Trackmania Sunrise, I love it!
Cool gameplay guys, thanks for uploading to give us something of what we can expect.
Acer Koenz A big +1. It's great to see gameplay so far in advance of the release. Definitely getting me excited for November! :)
+eyebo Well, sorry bud, but it's past November
It got delayed till begin 2016, be ready for it :)
+Andrew M. It's all good. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait. :)
Do you know how long I've waited for this video? Only 18 freakin' hours!
It is necessary to press the "down" during the flight to stop the rotation of the machine and to stabilize it (this applies to the end of the first track on the video)
I sense an upcoming Oxbox Xmas challenge.
***** Now that you mentioned it, I need to do something to control my excitement for 6months
Track mania was once on the Wii. I played it
even playing on the PS4, they refer to R2 as RT. love the dedication!
Can't wait to play this realistic driving sim with my g920
Will B Totally 100% realistic no doubts about that.... lol
This will be a great year for racing games!
Looks excellent!
Lankey Bastard

the commentary is brilliant
I loved the game on the Nintendo Ds so putting this on my list
I'm surprised so many people don't know about trackmania
This was on the PC, Wii and twice on the DS, in a rather good portable edition.
The only thing left on this game is the splash and waves forming in the water when you fall on it with your car at huge speeds.
That annoys me a great deal.
mike ! You are the master of the road ! Prove it.
Can't wait to get my hands on this game!
Love the review but have to say first time on console I've still got my track mania for the wii but remember the DS VERSION.
Loved Trackmania on the PC, and I love that it's coming to the consoles. Will there be traditional split screen along with the Double Driver thing?
***** The TM Turbo trailer shows split screen and quad screen. So I think the answer is probably yes.
Cheers
OMG! PlayStation Access vs Outside Xbox show-off confirmed (unlike Half-Life 3).
And thank you Jane for embracing your secret Australian heritage. XD XD XD
can't wait to get my hands on the editor.
Really hoping the tracks are multi platform though
(custom tracks built on pc playable on xbox/ps and vice versa)
/ sails majestically off the track.
I don't know what i was more interested in, the game or these two flirting while they play together
Track Mania Is great on consoles. Btw It's not the FIRST it's been On Wii And DS before. It's FANTASTIC on Wii tho.
1:49 OXbox Mustard Race? No?
Damn, sooo cool. O_o Now i wish i hed a time machine to traveling to the future and buy the game. XD
Welcome to the 301 club how tough are ya
Looks great
Selrahc, Scorpion, Kaboom, Frostbeule. Anybody remember these dudes?
I wonder if they will carry over fullspeed and all those servers and I am curious as to how it handles. Will pick it up for xbox or ps4 even though I have been playing trackmania for years on pc (own them all lel)
God I missed TM.
What's new ?! Stadium seems like from TM Nations, Coast seems like from TM Sunrise. But really better graphic :)
WKWLKP It doesn't even feel like coast tho... it's a lot faster. Kinda like coast and island had a baby mixed with influences on the car like Rally.
looks like you have a handle on that playing station
Looks pretty decent
Is it just me or does anyone else think outsidexbox and playstation access should combine to make one super channel. Come on how awesome would that be ;-) :-D
I played the first Trackmania on Wii actually...

F ZERO CONFIRMED GUYS!
One day!!!! OMG
Racing games are wasted on Jane, at least Mike's having fun
This is one of the thing you buy just cause...
Wasn't track mania turbo on the ds and wii?
This game is going to be difficult on consoles. You really need a keyboard to play this, analogue sticks just wont cut it I'm afraid.
***** Oh, yeh that makes sense.
CamoCam0 Hi Camo, i think i can answer your doubts. I'm a professional Trackmania driver from Team Acer, and i play a gamepad myself (PS3 Dualshock 3 gamepad). "been playing trackmania for years"
*crashes*
Trackmania was on the Wii
trackbuilder where you can build own tracks? and how about play online?
both are included in the game but not in this video footage (look at the date)
+dronem898 that is awesome... then this game is a system seller !
Well if it will support custom tracks as the pc version I am in. But as we know consoles are closed for that things... as for me it should be cross platform
So pc players can destroy console players?
AverageJoe2471 yes, because keyboard is such an advantage in racing games... lmao
+cotytupocotytu lmao
Im no expert but i think smashing into a wall at high speeds is not the objective nor good for your health
skywrecker But it is fun! ^_^
it will however shorten your lifespan
you did a horrible job of representing us Jane *claps*
you know it was on wii. right?
I feel like trackmainia should just be a PC exclusive
No no no
Matrix_ PC and Nintendo Wii :D
anyway, if you are a developer looking for LOTS of money, would you drag the 2005 PC gameplay into a next gen console only adding endearing graphics? i think yes
Federico Azzi i play trackmania on pc and i feel it would be better on console
I'm not spending thousands on a PC that can play games
it wont be really better, it will be more commercial than the PC versions
So... is this the TMUnited of TM2?
This is TrackMania: Turbo, a new installment.
I got very big doubts about the future of this game. Look, if you compare how much Canyon and Valley have been worth for Nadeo, i can be available to say and confirm that this game will be an entire fail. Ali drake The PC version is a digital download via Uplay or Steam. According to the Ubishop, the PS4 and XO versions of the game are "boxed", so I guess that means Bluray.
