I'd like to add that I am glad this game sported Namco game creators' trademark serious deadly action scenario + dark hilarious humor, all the way down to how the stages collapse and play into the players' favor or demise. The game's ending? Very dark & funny.
I'm in my 40s, and never got to see this game in the American arcades, at least the ones in 80s / 90s Texas. 🤠🎮 Would love for Namco to have revisited this game again for a revamped 2.5 Dimension version. Sega's "Powerstone" (super fun game) is about the closest I could ever think of going 3-D'ish arena and still making the fighting, weapons use, and traversing work, but 2.5-D would be best.
Japanese version's character explanation in the opening scene is slightly different from the overseas version. Ah, the timestamp of the 4th stage is omitted!

The third target looks like two random Hogwarts students.
This does kind of look like Smash Bros., with the zooming and the weapon drops.
omg we have SmashBros back in 1994 already?!
smash bros before smash bros
Is this game a spiritual sucessor to Rolling Thunder? GUN!
Stage 3 targets are a demented Hansel and Gretel.😅
Seems pretty normal to use a rocket launcher in a plane.
Great soundtrack btw. And I almost had forgotten how the old 100chf bills looked like 😄
Another great game I never heard of! Thank you very much!

Heard that this game was "Super Smash Bros." Before Super Smash Bros.
Oh my God, those character names… 🤣
Was there a neogeo game very similar to this with the zooming in and out?

Smash before Smash
Good game ❤
GG 🎮☺️
Duplicate of sly spy
Hardly. Two totally different storylines and gaming concepts.
Really nice game not known as it should imo, I always thought it deserved a Saturn Port! 🙂
