WWE's hall of fame is a joke... They include or exclude wrestlers in it at their will and in such manner that it should not affect their company in any manner... Like Hulk Hogan for Example, they removed him from HOF and his merchandise after his racist incident and later on reinstated him in company.... They'll induct Big Show in Hall of fame only when they feel its best for WWE promotional purposes 😏... So don't worry, its just a matter of time... If they can induct Kurt Angle in it even after his departure from WWE, then Big Show will surely make it in HOF...

@@lindsaychurch8749 No I am not kidding. WWE does not care about this nonsense that people like you always claim they do. For heaven sakes everybody always leaves and always goes back. Vince does not seem too concerned with anybody leaving when their contract is up. Literally 25 wrestlers in the past 15 years have left, talked bad about WWE, and Vince still hired them again. For all we know Vince could've sent him there. Vince does have a history of supposedly sending crew and onscreen talent to work for other companies. It is pretty clear he sent the NXT wrestler Tino to work for AEW, and AEW caught Tino, and fired him and he was instantly rehired by WWE. People still claim he sent Russo to work at WCW.

Anyways Triple H and Big Show had a Hardcore match as the main event. I had bought a pack of signs at the merch stand with a bunch of different wrestlers on them and Big Show was on one of the signs. Big Show walked out and got into the ring. He looked towards us when he got into the ring and I held up my Big Show sign and he pointed at me and had a huge smile. I thought it was so cool. It's not like i got to meet him or anything but I'm 20 now and still is one of the coolest things I've experienced.

He was treated weirdly for much of his tenure in the WWE. At some points he seemed heel and face in different weeks. He's had his emotional moments, moments of pure embarrassment (Vince's head between his cheeks), but then the WWE will still throw him randomly into an angle with the idea that he's some kind of unstoppable monster the Champ should be worried about.

I think this deal was in the making for quite awhile. Paul was fed up with WWE a long time ago, but he loves the business. I wouldn't doubt that he was interested in coming to AEW around the time Hardy and Brodie came over.
I also wouldn't doubt Paul tried to get a new contract with WWE that would fulfill him to keep him there, he was denied and Tony Khan had already basically worked out his contract with Paul, so when Paul's WWE contract ended, he had the option already to join AEW.
