    Thank you so much for this. I have just started this embossing and wasn’t getting very good results, so your video has shown me where I went wrong. I will definitely be trying the black card stock!

    Beautiful examples. I love creating black cards, however...I quit trying to emboss. Each time I use the debossing white powder bag, it leaves white powder over the black cardstock that can't be removed. I figured it was a defective bag. After buying 5 more debossing powder bags that all leaked too much powder, I gave up. Trying to remove the powder was futile. Any suggestions/fixes for such an annoying problem??? Thk u.

    Thank you for sharing your video and for using different techniques. I am new to your channel. I love embossing, but it’s good to know new techniques. I wanted to know how you would know when your boss in powder is no good someone told me that sometimes the embossing powder don’t emboss.

      First of all welcome! Thank you for subscribing! I'll be honest that isn't something that I have heard or experienced myself. I have had my pots of powder for years now and I haven't had any problems with them. I

    I enjoyed your presentation very much. Could you tell me the name of the notebook looking thing you use so you can stamp and restamp accurately?

    Thank you for this clear tutorial video. I am a beginner, and the first try with embossing powder left my cardstock stained everywhere the powder touched, even the scrap sheet I used to catch the excess powder was stained from the pigment. Would you have any advice as to what I may be doing wrong? Maybe I have to try a better embossing powder?

      I wouldn't say it would be the embossing powder, but I would say that an important tool for heat embossing is an antistatic powder tool. Lots of companies sell them either as a bag or brush tool. Or you could try finding a video on how to make your own. You would rub it over your card and it will get rid of any static or oils etc that are on the paper, which is what the powder is sticking too.
      Hope that helps. :)

    I can't find that stamping thing you used not the actual plastic stamp but the thing you put the plastic stamp on to stamp your paper

    So am I understanding you correctly that you don't need to use embossing ink pad? You can just use a regular ink pad?

    • @JRCreationsandco
      @JRCreationsandco  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you want to use coloured embossing powder like gold or silver etc then use a clear embossing ink pad but if you have coloured ink then you can use clear over the top and it will keep the same ink colour. But you can get coloured embossing powder if you want to invest in it. It really depends on what you want 😊

    Help! I keep getting tiny random dots inside and outside the perimeter of my stamped, embossed images. I follow all the steps per every "how to heat emboss" video: I use an anti-static tool on my cardstock before stamping with Versamark. I make sure to get a clean impression (no smudges etc.) before pouring embossing powder over the stamped image. I gently tap the cardstock to remove any excess embossing powder, and brush away any bits of embossing powder in the vicinity of my stamped image. I make sure my heat gun is plenty hot before using it. Yet every time, I end up with some random tiny dots of melted embossing powder marring the stamped image and the cardstock outside the perimeter of the image. This happens whether I melt the embossing powder from the front or the back. The tiny dots are permanent, of course, and very visible. What am I doing wrong? Any advice would be much appreciated!

      If you haven’t discovered the problem, try embossing on a dark color background and maybe you can discover the culprit

      @@ruthbarrett8907 Thank you, I'll definitely give that a try and see whether I can figure out what I'm doing wrong. I need to invest more time practicing, too!
