It's like "Joseph's Coat" with embossing folders! Lovely.
Love this beautiful embossing folder - I do like the finished effect too, although, for me, personally, I would have distanced the sentiment further from the top of the flower, I felt it encroached upon it, as I was enjoying the design so much. I stress, again, this is just my personal opinion. I might have set it nearer the top right corner of the card, - balancing the main flower. .
Loved the look. I may try this today on some tag backgrounds. Thanks for sharing
Love your card! What is in the white jar that you add just after taking the card out of the folder,(before adding black ink)?

I just found your channel and this video. The card is so pretty, and I love this technique! My question is when you add ink to the 3D folder, is the black ink a versamark type, similar to the clear? Or can I use any black ink?
Would you use the clear embossing ink (Versamark) by itself? Thanks for your help.
I have not had much luck with the Martin white staying white when I put it on colored backgrounds like that. I have had better luck from Copic opaque white. I have been recommended to try using krylon clear matte spray paint to use first and then use the white splatter. I have not had time to try that yet! This is so pretty - TFS.

What was the medium you added after removing the card from the embossing folder - seems like you brushed it over the finished piece? What it some sort of shimmer or perfect pearls for something?
I used a touch of cosmic shimmer gilding wax but it’s totally optional x

you missed a lot, whats the silver paste you're using and did you use some white pencil?
what did you apply onto the card that made it look white in spots? it was in a little jar and looked blue and you rubbed it on with your finger aprox at 4:08?
what was the stuff you put on the it after you took out of folder

What did you use on the background before you made it into a card. It looked like a small jar of silver/shimmery medium??? It was on screen so briefly I couldn’t see what it was. It looked like it may have brightened the image a little.

I found your channel today for the first time and I just love this technique. Would it work with pigment inks and dyes too? I have those in colors but I only have black oxide ink. Thank you and I can’t wait to see you again.
Hi! She said early on that you can use other inks so dye inks etc shoukd be fine. As with most things in paper craftong, give it a whirl and and see what happens!
I will have to try this. I only have four distress oxide inks but plenty of pigment ink. Would they be ok?

Yes that was Cosmic Shimmer silver gilding wax
@@LouCollinsBeautiful card… What is the Cosmic Gilding Wax for? It’s hard to tell in the video, but are you only putting it on the raised areas?
Yes I just brushed it lightly over the raised areas. I started with the sponge attached to the jar but found my finger to be a lot easier and I could see where I was putting it
Will this work with regular embossing folders, or do they have to be 3-D?
Lovely. Did you swipe the ink on the raised side or the flat side?
You can do either but on this one I swiped the ink on the flatter side
