Randy thanks for another great walk around Years ago my friend put a 327 in a 78 El Camino I saw a guy in a Ford Escort Gt cutting of firebirds & camaros Came up to me in the 327 got up to my door I waved Bye Bye I was on a nice Straight away road I knew the road like the back of my hand
@@ConeyFUKINC omg bro im 16 i saved for my first car a few months back i got a 2006 nissan altima SER i loved it the engine when u step on it was amazing with the red and black interior heated seats moonroof had everything. one day i let my brother borrow it and he totaled it wasn't his fault tho :( i was super sad i loved that car. but few weeks later got a 2010 g37 love it also
that era of 327's were notorious for cracked heads. I was building engines in the early 80's for race cars that had to use factory heads. I would go through heads and about one out of six didn't have cracks. sure was glad when they started letting us use Brodex aluminum heads and they (track officials) did because of the lack of good Chevy factory heads.
Hey Randythanks for another great walkaround. No real good flip cars in this one.(although the VDub with the Pat-Riots and only 89K on the Odo-meter would be nice at the right price - yeah, right) The old Chevy, unfortunately, is probably gonna take quite a few 💲💲💲to do it up right. Stay safe, my man.
I am a Infiniti M37S owner..I had many infinities they are good cars and when you start them up cold they do sound like they have a exhaust link but as they get warm it's like a valve closes and you don't hear that noise no more that car will sell good..$7,000..👌awesome choice
What's interesting about the 66 , right at 9:27 GM had a safety issue with the motor mounts breaking & they installed them cables. Most people never put them cables back after they pull the motors & replace the motor mounts, GOOD VIDEO! Plus it has a POWERGLIDE !!
I don't think that was milkshake. It looks like clean water coming out of the pipe. It looks like that milkshake was just dirt and grime that is in that little drainage gutter.
Yes sir thats what i seen too because right behind it towards the truck its cleaner. So i think it was dirt. But defiantly water or fluid is coming out.
Exactly what I thought as well. Could someone have sabotaged the car? Doesn't seem like too many are interested so why would they? lol Looks like pure water spitting out of the tailpipe as if water found it's way into the exhaust system somehow?
I agree; That was no head gasket failure. The water was clean, maybe from the melting snow stuffed inside the exhaust? And as DJ-H said, it would chooch like a steam engine. Just remember the Cougar.
I’m not sure why No one hits the like button. I do it before, just because you went through the trouble of making content. It’s the least I can do. Thanks Randy!
That’s funny, I had an older silver Jetta that had a ton of scrapes all over it, like someone had taken an ice scraper to the whole car to remove snow. It actually didn’t end up polishing up too bad 😅
I would get that Jetta. After 2012 they fixed the probs with the timing chaing guides. You wouldn't have to do much other than replace back window. Looks like trees fell on it during the big ice storm.
I hate BMWs but the old round headlight ones were the best. Anything after that is pretty much crap. Those actually are pretty reliable I've seen a few of those with almost 300k and the owners said they didn't need anything big. Just maintenance and a clutch. No horrific failures. Very simple old sohc engines and 3-4 speed autos and 3-5 speed manuals. It's a shame it's so trashed, those convertibles and higher end 325 models are very sought after. Not a 316 or 318. Don't think it'll be worth to rebuild unless it's dirt cheap.
Cylinders have a water jacket, keeps water separated from one side oil & exhaust side. May not be head gasket. If oil isn't mud/ milky. That means water getting in exhaust side, comes out tail pipe. Put coolant/water in radiator and check oil & exhaust again. Head gasket it would over heat fairly quickly.
We had a Galloper Santamo that in winter after sitting for a while (only getting started and not driven and low revs) it would spray water lile that or even more, it was crazy. But that was how it was, never had a problem with the engine. Not saying that's the case with the Impala, but I'm sure it has been started more than a few times lately and you also had low temperatures.
Yah know what could have happened to that Impala? Froze up and busted the block, ik it's been cold out there lately, and like you said, that was Water and oil, no antifreeze. So it could have frozen up and busted the engine block.
My son and daughter in law had a G37. Nice car, it was trouble free for them. If the price is good, hope you get a shot at it. Jessica might grab the keys and say "uh uh. Mine."
I bought a '76 Valiant sedan. Solid, a couple dings, 88k miles, and V8. Cheap. This car? "Dirty Mary, Crazy Lazy" clone of the blue Chevy. Mine? My buddies call it "Moonshiner's car"
The VW looks like a quick flip, if the price is right. The 66 Chevy worries me. If it only had water in the cooling system, and it's been below freezing there, may have cracked the head, or block. Be interesting to see if the freeze plugs are pushed out.
Great video as usual. I was wondering about the Impala and I know you would do a great job with it. However, I do understand the economics of taking a pass. Good luck if you get it.
I've had so many of those engines and seldom see a blown head gasket. Even if there was one blown they're so easy to change. I wish I could find one like that I would snap it up in a hurry.
Heh, 'Patriot' tires on an import. That figures... That said, the Infiniti and the Jetta both look to be easy fixes. I'd have checked the tailgate on the Toyota too, to see if the floor got mangled. If not, throwing a tailgate on that wouldn't be difficult. And I'm with you on classic four-door full-size sedans. Never understood the lack of interest compared with the two-door versions. On the upside, it's more car for the money, but a pity that so many dont consider it with investing even a relatively small sum into saving these beasts. On which note, I'd definitely say 'save the Chevy'!
I would not offer them a lot. Not worth over 2,500 if you have to do a head gasket. I already sub to your channel cause you at least tried. And you are doing most of the work on the cars you are buying and are not going over board with the trouble some cars. I know you need content for you channel but buying yourself new cars is not the way. What you are doing now is the way. Randy I'm so proud of you now. Thumb up...

The E30 is heartbreaking! What an awesome car.
At least it shows the airbag still works. A lot of E30 forums recommend removing them due to old age - I think not.
Swipe the seats, You can fit those into E28's too. It is a shame.
Randy your never get that bmw hood open like that 😂
325i are great cars I had one had 350000 miles on it and it started every day and drove great
Anybody noticed on the VW the clock said 420 party time
I like your commentary on the cars and how nice it was for the families at one point
Love the content Randy, that G37 looks mint, the VQ engine is an absolute peach. You should get one for the channel

If you add water to it and it seems that's one thing but the other day it didn't steam out the exhaust
The impala has a cracked head at an exhaust port. That’s why there’s water in the exhaust and the engine is not misfiring.
When faced with broken plastics, look up plastic welding and/or repair. I've had good results using these techniques in the past .
That VW would be perfect for Vincent Adultman and his trips to the business factory
That G37 would be a sick rebuild

That Infinity looks like a diamond in the rough. That and the Jetta are ones that I think would be good ones to flip.
Jetta just need a nice set of oem wheels and a polish up 🤔

would seem like that '66's 327 has a head gasket that's in serious denial. Rav 4 - yep, hail. BIG freakin' hail, direct hit on the hatch.

I don’t know about the Chevy no more after what happened
That car sold to somebody in Texas last year for almost $4000. This walkaround has some old cars in it that have been sold for a while.
Haven’t seen the video yet but from that thumbnail I hope it’s gonna be good. Hopefully that e30 isn’t destroyed
The roof dents on the Jetta look like storm damage, likely during the same event as the hail.

I'd say the Impala should be ok, condensation most likely built up in the exhaust along with dirt fr being out in that yard haha. Beautiful car.
That's a helluva lot of condensation. I live in Canada, I've never seen anything like that.
Randy, the Chevy had a head crack repair or false exhaust seat replacement. Engine may need a new head. I would pass on this one!
