Solomon Gundy is definitely hard to find, especially walkerswood. I found it online at caribshopper shipping, which took about two weeks but was well worth the wait.

I have been recording all kinds of videos @craig but TH-cam seems to give my older videos more exposure. This is my 79th video so me seh pan ih!! 🤣
Yep, been to this dumpling place many times. The one where they make it in the window. Took my roommate there and we ordered a hundred dumplings. The lady kept asking us if we wanted it take out. I said no, bring it to the table (She brought 10 sometimes 20 dumplings at a time). Didn't know they had lamb, I love the taste of mutton so much. We got a hundred beef dumplings that day, but I'll be trying the lamb next time for sure. Either way, I ate 60 dumpling and my roommate had 40. He still paid for 50 dumplings even though he only ate 40. That is what he ordered, so that is what he paid for. He had planned to eat 50 but when he got to around 30 he started struggling. I boxed off those last 10 off for him as a favour. I don't know what they put in that meat or it's because it's so crispy why it taste so good. After I'm done I usually go next door and grab a few Vietnamese sandwiches to take home, and also some Moon cakes from the underground supermarket. Don't ask me where it is, if you know you know.

@@CountryWhiteJamaican ... Yeah those Vietnamese sandwiches are so deilish....Try it, they used to be one dollar a sandwich when I was a kid, now the cheapest one you can get is three fifty.. Just get the assorted one to start with... and ask for spicy. Their spicy is flavourful not just hot.

@@CountryWhiteJamaican I don't know if those underground supermarkets have the tamarind balls treats but some of them do. When I say underground it's not just a metaphor in all cases, (secret, they are actually below ground, so you have to go down stairs to get to them). The sesame seed and peanut and honey treats don't miss either. They're not only in the China town stores/supermarkets but also in the Jamaican grocery stores too around Scarborough and North York too. Someone just stopped me on the way to the subway station yesterday to ask me directions to Danforth food market. This one is below Finch west on Keele, 2 minutes walk from Walmart and a 10 second walk from No Frills. They are always sold out of Solomon O Grundy and they sell it really expensive!!! How much did you pay for yours form that store, please let me know??? Good wishes CWJ ... I love your stuff!!! Keep contenting. Also what is your twitter/Insta. So funny thing! Right after I found this, my son shipped me some Walkers Wood gundy from Jamaica! He didn't even see thos video. We both had a good laugh and I'm well set with Solomon gundy now 🤣🤣
