The hardest thing for me to get used to on these scooters is remembering im not a car i dont nessessarily have to stay on the road. I used to ride road bikes with skinny wheels so it never occurs to me to just break out across the grass to get somewhere. I think ill figure it out some day.
it is truly freeing hahahaha gotta enjoy it while these are relatively unregulated 😅

hahah thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it! this issue only appeared that very night, but it went away after I toggled things on and off in the app... fingers crossed it doesnt come back!
First night ride vid I ever seen where people are not lit up like christmas trees. imagine doing 30mph and jksut boom take out 4ppl

When u with the people who skate I'd be so scared they would hit me or I'd hit them by accident also I love this video do you recommend the gt?
hahaha it was scary! but I was not going too fast so it was ok :D I do recommend it! I dont think there is anything better on the market in terms of overall quality and experience!

Utilize walk mode it’s easy to engage, going up curb, train, ferry. I walk mode as soon as I step off to walk it. Just a tip

That company scammed tf out of people with that 4k price tag it had at one point lol. The specs arnt there for such absurd price but anyways love that folding mechanism i know for sure it rock solid rumored too.
hahahaha yea the price was definitely steep! but it is probably the best overall scoot you can get for now, so cant complain too much :') excited to see the new version in the next year or so!
I'm having an issue with the back break on my gt2. It's stopping fine but my break lever moves up and down Quite a bit.. Is there any way to tighten that ??
yea there's a small screw that is just behind the lever itself near the point that the lever handle attaches to the rest of the brake. tighten that, should fix that
How long a ride was that and how much battery life did you approximately have at the end?
12 miles, was about 62% at the end. keep in mind this is one of the oldest GT2s on youtube hahaha will see if segway will kindly send me another battery :')
@@DrBernieBabylonWell it appeared strong to me, but yeah 12 miles is pretty short distance with that scooter 😊.
How many miles do you have on it so far? Any maintenance that you're doing regulary?
Got mine last week and about 100 miles into it and haven't done much really other than adding air on first day. I'm treating it like my ninebot max but the max has much less moving parts.
i am an awful example but ive just done air and lubricant so far lol.... 1300 miles

@@samita137 hahaha i try i try :P the shocks were getting noisy, and i am not talking about the clunk noise that all of them have, but it was squeaking, so i lubed the shocks and they were good as new!
@@DrBernieBabylon ah makes sense. Yeah the clunk can be pretty annoying. I see some people getting new springs from Segway if they file a warranty claim, but honestly I’m not that annoyed to go through claims and then go through the installation process. Really loving it so far, only hope Segway won’t release a new version like a month from now and make me feel outdated already.
@@samita137 from what they told me, we got about another year or so before a new one comes out! so you can rest assured for now hahaha

too big, too heavy, it can have a smaller size, waiting for a new segway
the size gives it awesome stability! but yea i agree, thats why i have a second scooter ;)
