Taming baryonyxes for dummies
1: get bolas
2: get a Sickle to harvest prime fish meat from preferably Saber tooth salmon.
3:get lots of bolas
4: knock it and protect it with spikes
5: profit
Or if you got a sea creatures find a nearby leedsichty( if it's spelled that way) you can possible scrape raw prime fish meat from it.

I also think Bary's are one of the best Ark Mobile Dinos you can have. There are really useful in the Centre Cave, cuz there are regaining 5x (or something like that xD) more, when there Killing (not eating) fish. And at the end of the Cave, you can eat as many piranhas as you like.
There are also really good at Mosa or Plesio Taming. There are fast, you can shoot from there bag and if you be near the surface, the big Dinos won't come near you. Ok, Sharks are irritating and nasty and will ALWAYS comexD

PS: I lost my bary the other day, in the sea, lost hope for it. Came back for oil(that was why I lost my bary) with a lvl 40 megalodon, found it. THE RELIEF.
CoolGunner95// GunGamer lol similar thing happened to me, i tamed a high level toad that took forever to find for the swamp cave(before the meganeura stopped spawning in the cave) and my mind went blank or something when i was entering-i forgot to WEAR my gas mask-. I died, with a 2m respawn cooldown (i had a 600+ damage sword, a 600+ damage crossbow and full set of ascendent flak armour with total protection of 3000+. Oh and the gas mask was my only one as well). I got so worried-until i respawned and found my toad lying next to my base (it teleported somehow.) (With my toad and medical brews, i got my stuff back)

Have you checked the swamps? That is where they appear the most in my single and the multiplayer server..
They spawn like spinos, in rivers but also in swamps
Strange barys are the only thing that spawn in my ark i think i glitched the spawns

Lol the frog can do everything the bary can do except the stun but it makes cementing paste and can tranq instead.
qdzs1 YT but it’s also weaker, way slower, ugly as all hell, doesn’t collect on the kill, doesn’t have infinite oxygen, ect
Schwalbe in addition,
- the frog’s tranq is useless since crossbows are way better at dealing torpor damage
- the frog do can swim, but cannot attack underwater
- the frogs are not good anymore in making cementing paste since the meganeuras in swamp cave stopped spawning (i would rather make cementing paste myself or find beaver dams rather than searching for bugs
The frog does have infinite oxygen and it can jump 4 walls high
