yes it is his server, which is exactly why you should not play on non-official servers. The exception being if you already know and trust the admins to not use cheats, or if you are already informed beforehand that the admins will be using cheats, like he does in the video.

Well yeah the Internet and violent multiplayer games aren't for kids in overall. I believe today's young kids his age are different from every aspect than they used to be 15-20 years ago.
Here's my 2 cents: First, hope the raging kid doesn't internalize this video too much. He was clearly very young (and impressionable as all kids are) which leads me to my first point. First the mum handled things almost flawlessly I would say. It shouldn't really be needed to be said but having a civil conversation over voice chat instead of screaming at a potential child (who is probably not even doing anything wrong no less) on the other end of the mic and validating poor behaviour on her child's part, is the best and only way of dealing with this situation other than altogether ignoring it and taking the boys toys away until he learns to process his thoughts and emotions constructively. One thing I would mention is that kids don't act out outrageous behaviours for no reason. The mum got infuriated rather easily and never took the boys computer away (or at the very least, it wasn't done fast enough), which I think shines some light on why this whole ordeal transpired in the first place. She lost her temper at her boy -- which is human! - but she should've let it out better than screaming and cussing because now the boy still doesn't really understand the importance of emotional and cognitive control. Secondly, as he pointed out, he now feels like his mum is against him because she screamed at him without really explaining the situation. Still, even with my one criticism it was handled refreshingly well, multitudes better than what you usually expect to see, and I'd take this over a large majority of parents any day. And "if you're getting this upset over a game then get off it" can't be phrased any better.

Here's my 2 cents:
First, hope the raging kid doesn't internalize this video too much. He was clearly very young (and impressionable as all kids are) which leads me to my first point. First the mum handled things almost flawlessly I would say. It shouldn't really be needed to be said but having a civil conversation over voice chat instead of screaming at a potential child (who is probably not even doing anything wrong no less) on the other end of the mic and validating poor behaviour on her child's part, is the best and only way of dealing with this situation other than altogether ignoring it and taking the boys toys away until he learns to process his thoughts and emotions constructively.
One thing I would mention is that kids don't act out outrageous behaviours for no reason. The mum got infuriated rather easily and never took the boys computer away (or at the very least, it wasn't done fast enough), which I think shines some light on why this whole ordeal transpired in the first place. She lost her temper at her boy -- which is human! - but she should've let it out better than screaming and cussing because now the boy still doesn't really understand the importance of emotional and cognitive control. Secondly, as he pointed out, he now feels like his mum is against him because she screamed at him without really explaining the situation. Still, even with my one criticism it was handled refreshingly well, multitudes better than what you usually expect to see, and I'd take this over a large majority of parents any day. And "if you're getting this upset over a game then get off it" can't be phrased any better.
