From what I could tell Wildcard did not actually want to put the Fenrir on the map after it went from modded to official but they caved after much fan pressure. Its argued that they put it as a reward for the final boss fight as a troll and middle finger to the players. Its really a mid game tame in the old version of the map. Still have a soft spot for it despite the Shadowmane being superior in every way.
that explains a lot... very disappointing though

i've had problems with audio ever since i started youtube, i did find many ways to improve it(mainly turning the volume up), and i am ofc still trying to improve it. I dont think i will buy a new mic right now maybe when i get some money out of youtube but still, thanks for the suggestion and feedback. (Also i speak fast and f*ck up some words sometimes so i think i understand ur point)

For unnofficial players, I can see the Fenrir being a rare tame.
For official players we had tons of them, and of course it was the most useless tame except for 1 feature, it's only useful feature was it could be as a fridge for Wyvern Milk and Nameless Venom, which on official you cannot pit them in refrigerators, but on unnofficial wasn't a problem because most people just used mods.
Edit, you can't transfer Island Boss heads to other maps, so they way he was getting this fenrir is impossible and is technically a failed run, any nonmodded ark players using this video as a guide will be confused and unable to acquire Fenrir by watching this video.
Damn, the way u describe the features of the fenrir is actually impressive, makes me hate him less. And ur also right about trophy transfers, I had no idea ur meant to beat the bosses on fjordur💀(also my videos arent meant to be used as guides, but i can see your point)
@@baronwuztaken no hate was implied, it's just over the years I've seen many Ark youtubers post guides and information videos, but 9 times out of 10 they had mods or custom settings and the way default ark and official works are way different.

The pheonix, as you can only take dur8ng a heatwave, can not see the ash pile outside of a heatwave, unless you walk the entire map with a parasaur.
Its the most frustrating as we once went 27 hours withot a heat wabe. After knowing the location of q pheonix

F I am so sorry I would absolutely LOSE MY SHIT, u probably know this but transfer all of your data on to a usb w hella space or another ssd, then once your desired files have been transferred onto your destination drive, unplug (c a r e f u l l y) reinstall win, replug ssd, uno reverse that transfer and tahdah no funerals for file, love ur content btw B)!

i found the titans easier than this lol 🤣, also if you want to do it on alpha then the fenrir is without a doubt the hardest one to get

I think taming a King Titan is harder becouse you must kill all titans 3 times to can kill this dud and on top of that you must have good mega mek and to be sure you can have ice titan tamed. And to kill fenrir you must kill 2 useles boses and doug (dragon) and have like 5 giga's or 20 rexe's
u cant tame the king titan, u can only kill him, also u cant take gigas into ANY boss arena except king titan

didn't have the map installed, also I found out after uploading the video that I could've killed the 3 bosses on fjordur for basically free which would've saved a lot of time :/
@@baronwuztakenyou can heal shadowmane faster to half hp by putting him sleep. And after just make him stay in water and heal with meat, it will be a lot faster then just feeding him.

I knew about the fenrir lvl however since he was 150(or 225 i cant recall) he seemed INCREDIBLY bad for that high level(WITH singleplayer settings on 😒)
Tho actual hardest tame is the titanasore Which is literally impossible to tame in single player, without heavily editing the settings
already did it, his torpor didnt drain 1 bit(idk if singleplayer impacted that) and it was very easy 🤣

fun fact against the dragon, many people use therizinos because a long time ago ark devs thought herbivores should take half damage from fire (because "they have tough hide" ????) so theris are very good at not dying and still have good dmg
I know herbivores take less damage but healing them is harder(cakes), also, since I had so many shadowmanes I didn't bother taming anything else
edit: the tough hide thing seems stupid, a wooly rhino would burn like a rainforest 🤣🤣

I wouldn't consider this the rarest tame. It's the most annoying, and pretty useless, since you can't breed it. For me, a PVE player, it's certainly not worth it. It's one of those things, that maybe once I've done everything else in the game I'll go tame one, just to say I did. Otherwise, who cares? For me anyway.
I consider it the rarest tame because you need to do a lot of things to tame it and isn't that straight forward, also if you were to do it on alpha then it's surely the rarest and hardest(beat 3 bosses + artifacts and tributes), and yes it's definitely not worth it but it's interesting nonetheless (i wouldn't tame this in any normal circumstance)
