Not to be rude, but I think you missed the most significant part of the video. Priorities. It's easy enough to figure out what you can upgrade, it's not so clear to new player such as myself what to upgrade first. Should I level all my memories equally, or upgrade them 1 at a time? Should I level them to 45 before I resonate them? Should I prioritize my weapon or memories. Which skills should I level first? Is there something I shouldn't waste my resource on at first? Imho that's the most important part.
That in itself is indeed quite a topic to cover.
Basically you should focus ONE DPS first, and max him out as far as you can get, so you have one character who can carry you through all of the content for the start. When it comes to memories, well first off the moment you hit level 40 you should probably farm 6 Star memories because levelling 5 star memories really just isn't worth it. But in general, once you have your memory set level the bottom three to max level. For max efficiency you CAN skip the top row, but keep in mind that makes your character a lot squishier, so if you're new to the game you might have to level the top row to a level where you can comfortably take a few hits without issues.
Next in line should usually be a tank of the same element as your DPS so they can shred the resistance for your DPS and you have someone you can switch in as a Sub DPS. But for the start you can focus on only levelling their Tank skill so they can shred the enemies' resistance when you trigger their QTE (some QTE skills offer additional res shred, so check their QTE skill and level it if applicable). All the other skills and equipment can easily wait until your DPS is fully built. Same for your Support. If you need more healing make sure to level their Support skill and their QTE which is usually where their healing comes from, but ignore the rest.
Once you have that set up, you can really decide, go all out on your tank, so you have a proper Sub DPS, or immediately head on over to the next DPS, so you have better element coverage, and just repeat the same process: go all out on the DPS, level only Tank class and maybe the QTE on your tank, and only Support skill and QTE on your Support (if you need more healing.)
Should you focus on one team at a time or building a few dps characters and then working on supports? I've heard both.
Like right now I have Alpha build from launch (played and quit after second patch) I'll be getting Luna with my ticket once I get 15 missions done. After I lvl her up should i start working on Vera Rozen or another dps?
@@Bdog4114 As I said, both have advantages. Go all out on one team, and have one really powerful team, or go all out on your DPS characters and neglect your Tanks and Supports for the most part for more element coverage. It really depends on what kind of content you wanna clear first. I went with the DPS first, because it's helpful in both War Zone and Pain Cage which was my focus and you just need a DPS of every element to really get ahead in those modes.
@@JJKMagic Good point. I'm probably going to lvl Luna all the way and go from there. I might focus in on a dark team bc I love Alpha but u will probably try and get new Bianca when she comes out so putting more into Alpha might be a waste.
I did mention that leveling to 80 and skill levels are the biggest power bumps overall due to how your scaling increases, followed by ranking up from A to S to SS and onward because those increase your scaling more and unlock your best passives👍
Everything else is like... What do you need atm and what can you go get atm so go get that and upgrades happen😎
Lol im sitting here playin this game story mode with 2k difference in BP (3k with my 1.7k) 😂 just sometimes I failed to 3 star because of that 150s things
Just started playing this game 7-8 days ago. Sitting at level 54, appreciate the info in today's video. I have gotten to the point I just take my "serum" points and just grind resources. Probably not the right thing to do but at that confused stage. Not that I was truly clear on things :) Honkai and Genshin to me didn't take long to figure out.
Resonance and hypertuning I don't get but rest is quite easy to understand I'm at lvl 73 btw
if you grind resources grind the Event Stage instead, better deal for Resources and Memories

@@setoredan only level 40 for "Cosmic Glow" which is where you get event currency to exchange in the shop for everything you need
@@razortk77g95 Resonance is just feeding a "same set bonus" memory into another to give it a skill level or stat boost. Hypertuning gives a 12.5% boost to the stats that specific memory gives, either HP and Crit if it's a top row memory, or Atk and Def if it's bottom row. The memory needs to be max level with at least 1 Resonance to Hypertune it, and every memory can hold 2 Resonances and Hypertunes. You need to feed another memory into a Resonance to reroll it, but doing this DOES NOT undo the Hypertune if there is one, so don't worry about waiting to Hypertune a Resonance that you're looking to change up in the future. And finally, both Resonance and Hypertunes are bound to whatever character you put the memory on at the time, and will only give their benefits to that specific character when the memory is equipped.
Overall, my recommendation is to just throw on all 12 Resonances for a character for the BP boost and the Ultima unlock, and worry about Hypertunes later once the majority of your characters and teams are filled out with upgraded memories and Resonances.
For an S rank character,does getting another copy of that character bring them to SS?? How many copies do you need for SSS+
One character gives 30 (different for Uns) so yes, another copy is SS. SSS takes 90, and idk how many it takes to SSS+ cause... I've never gotten that far😅

Nah, go to GrayRavens' website they have all the builds you would ever need
Point of correct in 3:30 a weapon has a 80% chance yes, but if you don't get it,the next 6 star weapon is guaranteed to be the one you want

still a bit confused on the skills part, is there a priority to levelling them? like how in genshin people always say to only focus on certain things like ultimate/skill and leave the basic atk alone. is it same here or can we just level everything for every character?
There is! For this I would recommend looking at the GrayRavens website and checking their character build pages, and asking around in the discord!
Largely though, this game is so easy to build characters that through farming the event stages, you can build a character all the way in about a week if it's all you focus on! Genshin takes MONTHS, and ONLY ON CERTAIN DAYS😅
@@CashySwanson ive checked it and maybe its because ive only played for about two days, but i really dont understand anything when looking at the build pages and spreadsheets 😭 theres no clear 'level this skill' that im seeing, but it is a relief to know i wont regret it if i do level everything!! i always hate it when the game makes you feel bad for 'wasting resources' bc they just suck you dry HAHA.
