Main advantage it seems is that S ranks normally have better designed kits. A2 is a very good example, just pop ult and you just mash attack button. No need to dodge unless you want to. No one can cc or interrupt you.
It is unfortunate how much power disparity is in this game. My sss+ astral is just completely outclassed by my shiny new S rank Luna :/ There's so many old posts talking about how astral was an A rank character with S rank stats but... he just can't compete.
Yes he was supposed to be an s rank because he already has an a rank frame but the cn players complained that the release of s ranks was too quick and there was no time to save up so they just changed the s to a without changing his stats …….so when Luna came out I suppose they gave her ridiculous multipliers because as an s rank she needs to be stronger than astral…….at the time of luna’s release she was the strongest s rank in the game because she was scaled over astral who already had s rank stats.
I'm actually pretty lucky cuz I got luna as my first S rank from the event banner and coincidentally I'm a fan of mage type characters with large aoe and I love her character design as well
Watched the vid for the info more than the selector choice (Picked Plume cause Ice and to complete S rank Ravens), and while I had that feeling, wasn't sure at all... Like SSS Chrome struggling to do a fraction of what Garnet can do, or same with Rosetta vs SS A Bianca (Forgot her suit name) Thanks, see you on A2 video
I'm pretty new to the game and from what I could gleam using trial versions of high bp meta characters, I really don't enjoy playing them, this game has almost soulslike vibes to me so as long as I can clear the stage I'm strong enough, no need to be a meta slave, I just hate being out healed or running out of time lol. Lucia Lotus is my favorite ngl, so much fun to play, hope I can keep using her.
She was somewhat viable in certain game modes but thats not really the case anymore compared to the gen 2 characters sady. They are so broken gen 1 is basically unusable in comparison and because they adjust a lot of the content for the new characters the old ones suffer greatly. If you can het by though keep playing who you enjoy playing. The games no fun otherwise.
ah.. i missed Lotus.. it was because of how simple her gameplay was and didnt know much about the game.. though recently in Norman, i just use Pulao solo in Physical Stages... next i shall be SSS+ing Palefire Lee... i heard this next update is his buff to his gameplay!
He is and it should be out in a few hours! That said I don't believe it brings them up to S rank level but we take what we can get 😅I certainly wouldn't say no to a Lotus Buff!
I would say that ss rank for s rank constructs is the sweat spot also some s ranks needs sss to be viable like amp Selena without sss an sss or sss+ vera is still better at buffing Luna than an s or ss Selena so it’s not in all cases that s ranks are better than a ranks
As I said in the video, selena is better because being an S rank, she can actually damage things end game. I've already tested selena vs vera in another video and of course there will be the occasional trade off like how vera heals more. I will always value having a character I can play over a qte bench warmer as a playable character contributes much more to the team. I also mentioned that Luna is easily one shot. As for S vs SS it can vary and sometimes SSS is better but at the end of the day thats paid and no f2p is going to make enough ppc skulls to SS everyone. SSS+ vera is also a huge grind and serum investment almost no one will to do.
@@broku221 sorry to say but I have grinded vera to sss+ since last year November hell I have grinded vera,wanshi,a liv,watanabe astral,lee pale flame,b liv,a karenina all to sss+ I do at least 2 characters per day and also if Luna is easily one shot why are you benching vera when she has insane healing 😕 as for me until I sss Selena I will not use her because she is the weakest of all the amps in the game without sss and kuro made it easy for at least dolphins to sss her . And I have noticed this trend of free s characters been only viable at sss eg Selena,a2 needs sss for her to be viable as a damage dealer and upcoming amp ayla which is also free
@@chiboy5567 SS Ayla AMP is already good enough tho with 5 star wep that's how good she is for ice team they also said that at SS3 with sig wep she can outdamge SS Plume with full sig wep reso

Hello! I've been playing for a few days now and luckily I've pulled Rosetta today, now I'm confused who to pick as my damage dealer. I haven't used the S-rank selector box yet, should I pick Lee Entropy as a physical damage dealer from the box or should I invest on bianca zero and level her up? I'm just really confused about the S-rank selector box. I'm f2p and have been using Lucia Dawn so far cause I love her playing style but I want to invest in a meta unit as a backup.
Liv luminance is the one you want. Noone else in the selector is meta. You can see my new video in a few hours that will show how to use liv and rosetta in their new team.

You are missing: Luna, Liv, Rosetta and Plume who are all meta characters in the S selector. If you want my opinion, I'd get Rosetta as she will pair with an exciting new character coming soon!
@@broku221 personally don't think that's good advice as another s rank selector will come where he can get her, would be better for him to build another team than get Rosetta and just wait for 4 months before using abystigma
Em just want to throw this out there qu actually out damage every other transendent because of her of field damage after using her ult ……she is meant to be quick swap I.e bring her in burn her orbs as fast as possible ult and watch her crow deal off field dmg and she is the only one atm who has off field dmg.
Thats great, except when you have to play her solo for long periods of time like most un stages. Her damage is still Mediocre at best during ult for a un and she is easily oneshot making her high investment for low return. Her crow is only good with her 6 star weapon which is a huge investment for f2p, Feel free to make a factual video showing her out damaging everyone though, I'm sure many people could learn from it.
@@broku221 well I guess you are right I saw rexlant use her in guide battle and he was just advising everyone to get her crow out as quick as possible if you want to get a high score saying she has the highest dmg potential of all the transendent but he was also using a high investment qu…..so you are probably right
I started this game because I saw a bossfight Lucia Alpha vs Rosetta back then. So I choose alpha. Ps: the reason why I didn't have alpha all this time is, I didnt play this game that much after I missed her from gacha.

I just picked up the game last week. As a Nier enjoyer it is sad to hear the characters are in the game but unavailable to me. :(

Not really, A ranks have some of the best designs in the game. Super armor is certainly one thing they lack though along with being damage capped.

yep, I talked about the whole character roster and not just the character selector. Both S rank Liv's will be meta soon.

When its P2W but in reality its P2L just because it usually goes unfulfilling otherwise its fine if its for waifu or husbandos collection purposes
