This definitely belongs in the soundtrack of a movie. Like after the main character has lost everything and is maybe walking down a lonely dirt road as evening falls and the skies are dark with clouds and he/she is pondering the value of what he/she has been through and the challenge of getting back in the game. Something like that, anyway.
That's deep dude I'm up to my neck in homework and unanswered emails.... but I need Justin right now. My best friend just lost his brother and I can't help him. I've got some serious blues right now.
or a walking through the desert montage. maybe some time lapse footage of the clouds casting huge shadows over the new mexico dunes and cacti. camera cuts to a rattlesnake shaking his rattle. then back to the guys crusty sunburnt face. then to some black and white footage of one of those churches that plays with snakes
thanks Justin. for a moment in the middle of the mountains time stood still, a moment of grace ... even the neighbors were silent. what delicacy and what strength
Justin Johnson, you are sincerely one of the few true blues musicians of our current time, you channel the spirit of this music flawlessly and in so so many variations and moods. thank you for sharing your magic with us. 🙏🍻🌾
This is a storm of darkness in which I am glad to be lost. The anguish you pull from the strings of that lovely instrument reflect the tragic beauty and wonder of life.
This resonates so strong and keeps teasing at memories at the edge of recognition. I keep hearing phases that seem so familiar they want to call up lyrics and talk to me but I cannot find what it reminds me of. At the edge of consciousness, so familiar, and yet just out of reach. So like my best friend I lost. He is always with me, I can feel him, and yet no longer here.
Beautiful and haunting, brings back some old memories, good and bad. Love the rain in the background and the setting. You have done it again Justin. Thank you for the chill vibes sir. 🤘🥃🍻
I had several of your lessons saved, and they really help and I go back to them. But today on FB, in a group of mostly retired dog trainers, a friend posted this. You were thoroughly applauded. Well done!
Found myself singing a soulful version of Stairway to Heaven to this beautiful playing. It’s not about how many notes you play - it’s about which ones.
I didn't know you until about a month ago, since then I haven't stopped hearing you. All my life I wanted to play but it just didn't work out, and now I bought my first guitar and it's only because of you. I'm 41 years old so I've missed a whole life without a guitar but it's never too late and thank you for that. It's just a pleasure to hear you play, you are an amazing musician man!
By far my most loved guitar player of all time. His whole style and vibe is a spiritual experience, even covering other songs he makes them a whole different experience. Amazing. I dont play an instrument nor am i musically inclined on any level, but i think im going to buy his 3 string shovel and videos and try my hardest to make some sounds that hopefully doesnt make people's ears bleed lol.
Best of luck to you! I'd do the same but I don't have as much of an interest in making music as I used to. Everyone's creativity manifests in different ways, and mine just isn't music. But good luck anyway!
Sometimes it just is and becomes one of your parts and as a single tear escapes in a thoughtful moment ,reminder to look forward with clear eyes and hope in the wisdom that came from the pain that you now see past …
I am an old "warhorse," lucky enough to be here. Driving my truck at night west bound on the 80 while listening to your darker pieces ... Well, it speaks with me.
It's so rare to hear acoustic guitar played with this level of talent and soul. I would be surprised if Justin Johnson didn't visit the Cross Roads one dark night. Best slide player I've ever heard.
Certainly nailed this JJ , haunting but absolutely beautiful deep down Delta Blues . Your melodic vibrations stay on my mind for a very long time after taking all this in , accolades to you friend .
It amazes me how you capture so much emotion, loss and nostalgia. This piece caught me the first time I listened and is already one of my favorites. Thank you
I've been around live music all my life. My dad played bluegrass and my summers growing up were a series of live bluegrass festivals and Grateful Dead shows. I've met musicians from around the country and the world and not one of them ever made it look so easy. This is as natural for you as breathing. I don't know what you ultimately want to do with yourself but you've got a talent that will take you anywhere you want to go.

Red Dead Redemption cut scene.
Now you.. You should write movies with an imagination like that.

back in the game ? washed up DD .. ?

What a powerful remembrance. The soulful melody, the rainy backdrop, the single lit candle ... it tells a universal story. A very honorable tribute.
Who is the tribute for?
@@BigSpice15 I am not sure. That is something that Justin would need to answer, but I was hesitant to ask.
Kevin Merino yeah I wouldn’t wanna ask him, it’s something personal I’m sure and none of my business
What Kevin said. Couldn't say it better. 👍
@@KevinMerinoCreations Could be personal... yes I agree... but for me it reminds me of the one and only Johnny Cash... the black theme and all...
Sorrow, loss, pain, hope and renewal. This tune brings out all those emotions. Play on Justin.
thanks Justin. for a moment in the middle of the mountains time stood still, a moment of grace ... even the neighbors were silent. what delicacy and what strength
Beautiful image…JJ’s Music & Playing haunts places in My Soul I never even knew I had! Thanks 😊
Sounds like the guitar is singing some real deep shit. ...Awesome
Totally agree
There is a season for all things, including a lament on a stormy overcast afternoon. Thank you.
Justin Johnson, you are sincerely one of the few true blues musicians of our current time, you channel the spirit of this music flawlessly and in so so many variations and moods.
thank you for sharing your magic with us. 🙏🍻🌾
Damn! I can actually "see" the scene unfolding behind this hauntingly beautiful, moody song. One can actually FEEL the music...
A fella can’t get anything done!!
I just turn Justin up and escape from this world 🌎 I’m in a trance 😳😳
Thats so deep, I just feel that tone inside my body
Sometimes no words are needed...the music says it all. Absolutely mesmerizing!
Exactly
I like how the setting reflects the music.
Kinda like soundscape type music it paints an environmental picture in my head to dream and fall into
Yes

"Remembering a good friend today" sounds like some grief and yet memories worth to hold on to. I miss my dog.

Hypnotic. Tales of a haunted past and a mysterious future. All in one sound. An emotional roller coaster
Yes, music that calls forth the spirits that speak with us in the rain. It's a fine thing. Heart felt thanks, M.M.
Yes, in the rain the sounds of silence....
I truly love this music 😊💖
Beautiful and haunting, brings back some old memories, good and bad.

Best Chanel I’ve subscribed to.
I have been waiting for another song. Not disappointed.

Justin NEVER disappoints! Who could think otherwise! You! The skeptic with the bad hair! Get off this bus right now!🤗😎🎸
Well yea would agree
Kort is all salty... Op was saying, they was waiting to hear more. Obviously
My favorite at this time 👍🫶🎧🫶👍🔥🧨💥
Dark, lamenting blues. Love every note. I almost hear ‘Wish I was in heaven sitting down’ in the first bar of the main riff. Excellent as always.
Music, when soft voices die, vibrates in the memory...
That's the kind of blues that'll bring you to your knees 💙
That sounds like some of the storms I’ve been through in my life. Outstanding
I had several of your lessons saved, and they really help and I go back to them. But today on FB, in a group of mostly retired dog trainers, a friend posted this. You were thoroughly applauded. Well done!
Man you can sure preach the Blues with those Hands. Another great tune.
I keep coming back and listening to this song every once in a while. I can't and will never forget it. It is just beautiful. Bravo.
I can hear the crying & sadness emanating from that guitar JJ. So sorry for your loss.
Amazing
I return to this one often. The sounds of rain in the background add to the chillness!
🌧🎸🎙🎶🪔🧘🏼♀️
Love the porch, candles on the desk, and rainfall in the background.
Just real, just awesome, just beautiful. Here's Justin Johnson.
........there is nothing like this man's music .......nothing shy of magic like a trance of memories for me
Found myself singing a soulful version of Stairway to Heaven to this beautiful playing. It’s not about how many notes you play - it’s about which ones.
Perfect song to come out with today’s weather. Thunder rolling faintly in the back
I keep coming back to hear this beauty of a performance. This is magic.
The BEST! It's as if the thunder rolled in perfectly at the end.
Listening to Johnson’s incredible talent never fails to give me goosebumps. An absolute joy to listen to. Thanks for sharing your videos. 😊👍👍
It's as if you can hear a story being told without any lyrics JJ you are absolutely awesome man
Are you kidding me?! How is every single one perfection?!
I picture a covered back porch, good friends and a slow rain on the back fourty kind of weekend. Settin the old mind at ease for a minute.
once again, your soul shines through the darkness on this one.
thanks, Justin; peace be unto you
The rainy background, perfect ambiance.
can feel his tears through the sounds... beautiful
🔥♥️🎶♥️🔥Soulfully deeply beautiful-rain on a tin roof as the river flows by--truly enchanting
Musta been a special friend. Extra emotion in this tune
Incredible talent and music. Thank you for keeping old school delta blues alive
Never a disappointment! Satisfying to the soul, as always.

Morceau de circonstance. Si la tempête qui traverse nos vies était un film, cette musique serait la bande originale parfaite

Even Swamp thing would hum along to this.

Always loved the sound of the rain, fits very well with the music.
Perfect for a Sunday morning coffee 🙌🏼
That is a beautiful piece of music
Sounds in parts like a dark version of "Hurt" in my ears..... a very special tune to me
Sometimes it just is and becomes one of your parts and as a single tear escapes in a thoughtful moment ,reminder to look forward with clear eyes and hope in the wisdom that came from the pain that you now see past …

Smoothness with Ease!! 🔥🔥🔥
Perfect vibe with the sound of the rain and the grey skies. Brilliant as always, my dude.
Thank you for this awesome remembering . It's like telling a story .
So good. So good. Simply beautiful. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 I cannot praise this enough.
I listen to this when camping... early in the cold morning sitting outside my tent looking a beautiful view with hot black coffee in hand.
Ugh, I could listen to this forever, it poured rain all day where I am and it captures the mood perfectly 💙
Thank You Justin. I appreciate all your music. Today, this fits better than anything. Dann near divine timing... Beautiful.
I'm happy to be with you today and your playing surely did its justice.
Become his audience from one note he is the magic no words just pure spirit look at his ora his soal is as old as the beginning of time .
That was breathtaking! And the atmosphere... Wow.
Right on! Awesome! From south western Virginia Appalachia. 2:45 eastern time. 🤘
🏵 As I lay myself to sleep, in a daisy field of forget-me-nots, the guitar song in my heart remembers lovely melodies of yester years 💖
The sound of the rain outside is so fitting, wicked as always👌👌👌
Perfect timing as it's dark and stormy right now. Loving it!
Strings of the soul. You are talent.
My GOD man, I was ready to just end it all, then I hear I'm not the only lost soul!!!

somber with a hopeful solace about it. love it
Tellement beau, introspectif et plein de douceur...Merci
The rain storm began in response to Justin's playing.
Yeah, I am pretty sure of that, and will move to second that motion. Anyone else?
So good to here the real sound of the basis of rock n roll pure emotion nothing compares, this is all feel and no junk.
Certainly nailed this JJ , haunting but absolutely beautiful deep down Delta Blues . Your melodic vibrations stay on my mind for a very long time after taking all this in , accolades to you friend .
That rocks man! 🎸🤘🤠
Im consistently stunned by the beautiful photographic look to every equally awe-anspiring session.
Awesome rainy day on porch playing the blues!!!!!
Always makes for a better day to hear the spooky blues
A true piece of art! His sheer talent on the guitar mixed with the artistry of the filming is amazing.
This man just refuses to stop delivering!
Beautiful!!!!...and the sound of rain in the background amazing!
That ending with the thunder was just perfect 👌

Red Dead Redemption Vibes and I love it!!!
Escuchar tu música trae paz a mi alma. Gracias Justin! Hermoso!! Un saludo desde Argentina. ❤
I needed this relaxing and beautiful music tonight.
Scottish Stonemasons theme tune 😉. Rain running down your back and out your arse. 42 years a Scottish stonemason. Speaking from experience. 🙂
