The goose you saw is my buddy Wingy, Had you gotten closer he would have hissed. Sadly we lost him to the horrible avian flu that hit in late July 2022. He was my friend, I spent two hours a day with him and I miss him horribly. Thank you for making him famous Rip Wingy

This is a jewish tradition.Jewish believed that placing the stones on a grave would keep the soul down in this world
Not true I see a lot of stones on headstones/tombstones in Catholic and Christian cemeteries
Putting a rock on a grave stop is a Jewish thing showing love and respect.

OMG, I’ve been begging someone to find the famous gravestones. Thank you!!!! I went to the old mobsters houses on my last trip, last month. The houses still look great. So much history in Vegas and everyone goes to Resorts World every week.🤣

You missed a BIG ONE... Sonny Liston is buried in Las Vegas. Col Tom Parker. Stu Unger considered the greatest poker player ever. The famous Karate Kid Pat Morita is buried in Las Vegas.

Tony Curtis was Jewish. It’s an ancient tradition to place stones on jewish grave markers. There are many different explanations why.
It's a Jewish tradition but I'm Catholic and do it to let a friend or family member know I was there for a visit

Setting tombstones over graves (in Hebrew, they are called matzevot) has been a custom revered by Jews. The stone is a sign that the living remember the dead. The pebbles on the stone are like the stone itself; they are signs that this is a pious family who visits the grave of their loved or revered one. Tony Curtis was Jewish.

@@BlackSheep1 I have always placed a small pebble a rock or a coin depending on the grave site over the years. When I visited Buddy Holly's grave a few years ago in Lubbock Texas I placed the coin there, it was quite an experience for me being such a huge Buddy fan and music fan all around.

State Vermont-Towns with unusual cemeteries-Barre, Vt Hope Cemetery Montpelier, Vt-Green Mount Cemetery Burlington, Vt Burlington Cemetery Middlesex, Vt-Middlesex cemetery-these R the 4 unusual cemeteries in Vermont that I found while I was up there.

Lots of famous people are buried all over the place when they'll cremated. They just put they'll name on a stone. Its a wandering Jewish custom .
Not a famous grave, but a guy I worked with in Louisville as a programmer moved back to Vegas to run his own cleaning business and was executed after catching a guy stealing at a business complex. Born Nov. 22, 1963 (yes, same day Kennedy was killed). See Billy Troy Hanlon at find-a-grave. A black belt in Karate, but that didn't help him on that day. He was found on his knees , shot in the head, with his wallet still in his hand.
To show respect and let others know that the grave has been recently visited.

In jewish tradition they don't bring flowers but instead leave pebbles or small stones on the graves. I guess they are not going to steal the stones . But flowers they will .
It's a shame to waste some of these beautiful cemeteries on dead people.

Cemeteries were our first city parks. Families would picnic at the cemeteries in NYC thus inspiring them to build parks for that purpose.
Do you really need to keep putting up the picture of you and your partner every two minutes? I stopped watching because of that. Jewish people put a stone on the headstone to let the family know he or she had visitors. Can’t believe you didn’t know that.
It is a Jewish custom to leave a stone as a sign of a visit to a dead person as a testimony - this comes from the book of Genesis chapter 31 verse 47 - since Tony Curtis is a Jew, people left stones in honor of a deceased Jew.
