Yeah and I personally believe a cfw PS3 slim is the best backwards compatible as The Slim's are alot more reliable and you're not over playing your PS2 games disc's by backing them up as ISOs on top of that the PS2 emulator used is very great almost all games work with out issues.

Pcsx2 can do a wonderful job at emulation of the PS2. Hen or cfw a PS3 with of course legal backups and let pcsx2 play your official backups and let epace play legal versions of psx games
When i try to download them, the full name doesnt display and i cant do anything to the pkg file. When i try to delete it, the full name displays and i can remove it. So my ps3 is detecting the pkg but i cant download it, why?
hey i have a super slim with HEN. Tried the exact thing you did but it did not detect the name of the PS2 game. Tried Contra Shattered Soldier and Star Wars Bounty Hunter. And when I selected create ISO, it gave me an error. and wouldn't work.
I do this all the time with my cfw PS3 slims I got off eBay what's your hard drive capacity brother? also great entertaining video man,at least now you don't really need a PS2 hooked up anymore sweet.
What I meant was is the convenience of having 3 PlayStations in one since all PS3s play PS1 disc's and now with being able to rip actual PS2 discs you now have full backwards compatibility on a slim PS3 which is amazing now just pair it up with a ps5 that all play PS4 game disc's now you've 5 generations on 2 consoles my exact setup and it's gaming heaven.@@user-um2cs9bg3n

Unless you have the launch 60GB PlayStation 3 “fat” model, you have to jailbreak. This is because the “fat” 60GB model has parts from the inside of the PS2 to play the games on. Afterwards, Sony removed all the compatibility on PS3’s without full PS2 hardware to cut costs and so they could resell PS2 games at full price.

On hen it doesn’t work I believe you’ve got to have full custom firmware otherwise you will need so sort of luncher for it
For a hen system you have to add ps2 games a different way

Super slim is not possible… you have to inject the games…
Creating pkgs for the games to work… the list is small… so if you do ever want to try this try buying a ps3 slim instead better compatibility…
