Efiafi which is a Tongan love song but with Iam it has a different meaning.

I have never heard this song sung before Iam Tongi sang it at his concert. I thought it was beautiful then, but didn't know what he was singing about. Go to any Faikava on any given night, then Church on Sunday. Our men sing beautifully, so do our women. The Tongans still sing acapella, as witnessed at our rugby and rugby league games, a tradition from our Church and our traditions.

I love the way Tongan males sing with the high tenor notes but there's a husky type of tone too. Maybe it's the older men s voices that give the sound.

They are both great singers. Filipe vocal is powerful n high. Iam vocal is low n very soulful n I like it because it is a love song. Both are different versions. Iam can sings in high tone as well. Great job.

I also want to mention one of the openers at Turtle Bay was Kapena, a popular group in Hawaii. One of the founding members of Kapena was Tivaini Tatofi. Tivaini Tatofi is the father of Josh Tatofi who was raised in Hawaii in a Tongan speaking household and is a Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed musician.
