King Tupou 4th gifted the name MMT to the Tongan national team

Thank you, everyone, for recognizing the MMT team. Indeed, Jason Taumalolo, David Fusitua, Fifita, Daniel Tupou, Taukeiaho, Jennings, and Manumau were the players who initiated the MMT movement. They represent Tonga without any financial compensation, which is why we love and admire the team so much.

Great to see Lani Day competing again. Also great to see our first female Tongan boxer, Epenisa. Wishing them both the best and may they place well in their respective competitions.

I also want to mention one of the openers at Turtle Bay was Kapena, a popular group in Hawaii. One of the founding members of Kapena was Tivaini Tatofi. Tivaini Tatofi is the father of Josh Tatofi who was raised in Hawaii in a Tongan speaking household and is a Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed musician. All the originals of the songs Iam has sung on American Idol are fantastic. But let's call it the Iam Tongi Effect. He just transforms the songs and not just copies them. He makes an Iam version. His version of Cool down was amazing. With the band and amazing background singers. That little head turn at 15:05 :) Just an amazing performance
