I usually put the scotch packing tape over the entire top and bottom parts as well. To cover the ends. I’m so worried about moisture getting in. Great advice on the pull tabs! I’ll be doing that!
I would suggest substituting blue painter's tape instead of masking tape. It is just as sticky and much easier to remove. You can probably use it instead of the scotch tape as well.
Great stuff, thank you. I have. question though. So I bought some Gemini Mailers and had planned to also put them inside of a USPS flat rate bubble envelope for weather protection. Is that overkill? Also, if shipping that way do you know if you can just drop it off in the USPS chute, or do you have to physically hand it off to an emplyee to scan it? Thanks and love the links too, very hlepful.
Yes, putting it into a bubble makler is a great extra layer of protection! You can drop it in the box. I typically like to get a receipt so I have proof the books were dropped off though!
@@ILikeCollectibles that’s what I was thinking. Starting to sell a bit more and want to make sure I provide the best packaging and service possible. Thanks for the quick reply, and great video!
Thanks so much! Great question! I use a ql800. You can but them on Amazon. They print shipping labels as well as labels for a range of other things.. I basically print a label that's a business card and use it within the packaging 📦
Thanks so much for this video! I learned a lot and now I am just waiting for my first eBay sale!
Best of luck to you!!

I hear you! Safer the better! Yes, the pull tabs help a ton in opening.

@@glowbug2735 yes! I love the blue tape. The brand of masking tape I use performs very much like the blue painters tape. Agreed 100%! Thank you!
This was immensely helpful. Printing my own books and getting my numbers pinned down. Thanks!

Thabks for watching!
Would you recommend placing the Gemini mailer inside a poly bag for extra protection or is that just over kill?
You can definitely do that as well. It's a good idea to make it weather proof!
