I hope you had some fun with it and saw some new crazy techs in the game :) You said that it is actually not that much time (700 hours) for such an achievement, and that is true. What I would like to add to this is that I do blindfolded speedruns of SM64 and various other games since 2017, and those 700 hours were only the road from 70 to 120 stars, the rest I have routed way in the past so I came with lots of pre-knowledge!
I have one good eye and one worse eye (not blind, just worse) and for some treatment I had to cover the good eye up and only use my bad eye to train my brain to use it better. I could not do it for the life of me. I was forced to and it was the most horrendous time i have ever had. I was never able to do it for longer than 3 hours in one sitting. In the end my eye got better (went from being able to read up to the 3rd line to the 7th, the other eye was always 10)
I am so happy ludwig is shinning light on this insanely impressive achievement. Bubzia deserves all the love and praise for getting frickin 120 stars blindfolded! He is the goat of blindfolded speedrunning and I cannot wait to see what other massive achievements he has for us in the future!

I’ve seen quite a few impressive challenges, such as: The Foddian Games challenge Lud completed, as well as GrabdPooBear’s 7-99 Spelunky challenge and maybe one of CarlSagan42’s “Getting Over It,” levels from Super Mario Maker 1 or 2. However, this challenge is leaps and bounds ahead of any gaming challenge I have seen to date. Simply Incredible, Bubzia! I disagree that any human could do this. patience is a learned skill, but I don't believe that everyone would have the memory to remember not just every star, not just every strat, but every backup strat to save you when it fails as well.
I watched Bubzia's 120 star blindfold run over a few days. Amazing feat and I can't imagine the amount of practice it must have taken. Still think he's a bit crazy to do it! 😂
I think he's the only one who's done 120 stars blindfolded so I think he's the world record holder by default (that's not taking anything away from such an amazing feat though).
Ludwig is the type of guy to say he could do something really difficult by a certain date, make a bet such as that he will pop in a diaper on stream and then forget about it for months
