I have no idea what size motor you are running now. From a 270 272 can use 1.3. 1.4 1.6 motor!!! 1.8 too 2.0 motor can use 276 or 288 cam to get any power gain. If you want to do a cut cam head work is needed like bigger valves and port.
Hi there. Yes will rev it up for you but there is no cone filter on the car. This is a old video did alot on the car since then go check it out my new latest video.
@@ritchiesridemk1vwbuild853 golf MK2 1.8 gu and i want to put a 276 or 288 cam and twin 40' weber 😀 i think for a 288 renforced springs are needed right ? And a vernier pulley Also ? I'm affraid to not be able to tune right with the.pulley it looks complicated 😅😂
OK on my mk1golf I have a 288 cam with no upgrades I have hydraulic lifters and it works very well together. You don't have to do head work for a 288 cam. Only 298 and 300 billet cams. Go check out my new videos I have a 32/36 weber now. Thanks for your support.
@@ritchiesridemk1vwbuild853 just Seen your last vidéo with explanation for the.pulley thats cool, what RPM max are you hitting for working good with thé 288 ? And how Many hors power you think your golf mâke ? 😀
Like I said in the video on high revs that 288 works from 4000 rpm and up. Horse power not sure have to get car on a dyno first to see. You will see my new video on the weekend on freeway.
