Fire Coyote I just ordered a Matte Green version of the Vancore. I waited when I heard this was coming to US. I like the Raw but wanted this design more. So now I have a full face and this helmet when it arrives this Friday. I'm excited.
i been waiting over 3 years for the U.S. D.O.T rating. In WA. St police will come up behind you and make sure you are authorized to wear this helmet. i luv it...its the Bomb!!!!
Anthony, you stated that the helmet has revzilla orange accents but in the revzilla description it states that its red. can you clear this small detail up for me? Thanks bro. p.s. Can you imagine Nick Foles rocking the Eagles green one. lols peace.
It's a fluorescent red, so it's really halfway between red and orange. It's not as orange as it looks in the video though. The camera has a hard time picking up the real hue. -DrewZilla

Generally no, but it really depends whether you get claustrophobic at all. Personally, I don't really get claustrophobia, but I do like to put my face shield up occasionally for slow city riding or at stop lights. The Vancore doesn't really allow for that. -DrewZilla

Owned this helmet for two years... the look is wonderful, expecially with a mirror lens but... the quaity is embarassing. The goggles will lose the sponge on them after a few weeks, the expensive lens are so easy to scratch/ruin that I basically threw €40 in the bin for the mirror one and it lasted maybe 7 rides? Got a huge scratch on it, not even sure why, I had to throw it away. The helmet IS NOT SAFE as the front won't stay away from your mouth/nose in case of a fall. Yep, you got it, the padding won't keep it in place and there's no padding inside the front, so it's almost like wearing a jet. Will never buy a Shark helmet again, after 2 years the front STARTED MOVING, like it's coming loose. If you need a helmet for a moped, MAYBE. If you need it for a bike, NOPE. It's also mind-boggling noisy, as you'd expect. I liked the look so much but in the end I had to retire it soon enough. EDIT: got in touch with the Shark Customer Care, they asked me to send the helmet back to fix the chin bar issue. But it's a 2.5years old helmet, the sponge on the goggles disintegrated in a few days so I didn't want to spend money on it. I removed the interior and easily found out the chin bar is held in place with 4 screws and two cableties... tightened the screws, no more movement. Put the interior back in after a wash and that's it. Still, very very very disappointed by the quality of the goggles... the stock lens is still good but without the sponge they're not very comfortable. Shame it looks so damn cool!

if you have glasses, can you properly wear it unlike the raw?
You still have to fit the goggles over your glasses, which can be difficult or uncomfortable, so you have the same issues as with the Raw. -DrewZilla
