@@ssabitha1210 if that's the case she should mention that And she has no where mentioned it or else everyone will put rawa like that only and it will become very sticky and taste will be like uncooked rawa. Will have gum like flavour and rawa will feel like uncooked inspite of cooking it for 1 hour also it will taste like uncooked rawa once water is added to it. Hebbar gives partial information. I don't know about others but her information is incomplete and I don't like it.
@@ssabitha1210 no authentic uppittu or upma recipe is first u have to roast the rava till automatic, even its roasted also when we cook upma we need to roast then only it enhance the flavour and gives perfect texture , even bensi rava or broken wheat rava needs to be roasted slightly
@@ajeethkumaryadavy6375 thanks bro someone noticed an important step for an authentic traditional dish ,i was thinking that blindly they r praising but nobody noticed that rava is not roasted as it is very very important step to prepare uppittu or upma , roasting perfectly in certain way makes upma delicious, it enhance its flavours and gives texture perfectly , making upma is an art not everyone's cup of tea
Three way's of upittu may be also do the onion with tomato upam and vegetables upittu cabbage with big capsicum use vangi bath powder it's give excellent taste Ma'am do the delicious Upma three way's varieties fantastic with combination keasari bath it's extraordinary wonderful taste Thank you for sharing coffee time
Archana rawa should be roasted right. Dry coarse rawa makes it sticky. Rawa should be roasted on ghee or oil till nice aroma. Rest recepie is tempting.
If you can add 2 spoons of coconut milk it will give you a drastic difference of taste. I keep experimenting with upma even added 2 spoons of uttapam powder to it so it’s not too loose in consistency. I like a bit lumps as I remember from my childhood lunch sharing taste of a south Indian girl. Still trying to reach to that taste I remember.

If it is roasted rava no need to roast , for unroasted rava only you should roast

Did you fry the rava or not as without dry frying rawa it becomes sticky so I'm asking. Please confirm.
