- Fantastic selection of Coco Pops adverts from over the years, with over 100 of the best and funniest adverts, featuring a few series of episodes too, including crafty croc, Kylie Kangaroo, Ozmelda the Osterich, Shortie the giraffe and Hefty the Hippo. These were promoted during Childrens and primetime TV Adverts in the Ad breaks along with kids comics

The channel mainly focuses mainly on Breakfast Cereal brands including Weetabix, Kellogg’s, Quaker, Nabisco & Nestle, however I like to include other things that interest me. Its a chance to act as a future archive/history for anyone who wants to relive the magic of youth when you used to rush down to breakfast, open the new packet and hope the gift was one you wanted
So for those of you who look back in the past with fond memories of Yesteryear and recall mascots such as Kellogg's Coco Monkey, Tony Tiger, Snap Crackle & Pop, Cornelius Cockerel, Captain Rick, Loopy, Honey Monster, Weetgang, Hunger, Quicky Bunny, Chip Wolf, Hunger, Klondike Pete & Pardner then this is for you.
Where ads and commercials are included, these were all shown on usual ITV channels, including CITV, GMTV, POP, Disney, Nick Jr, Boomerang, Nickleodeon, Sky Kids ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Carlton, Cartoon Network, Anglia, LWT, Pop Milkshake, SMTV, Boomerang and more

For the 1st time, I went to Ireland and then England for a 2-week trip with my parents. When we went grocery shopping, this brand of cereal is the 1st one I grabbed from the shelf for breakfast. Tastes amazing, and the milk turns to chocolate.
Born in 2004, I had Coco Pops a lot when I was a young kid and I've seen a lot of the newer commercials (and I think the older ones were also interesting) and it's good to see them again and glad to see they kept that same catchy jingle.
Born in 2012 and I'm a kid but Coco Pops is the only cereal I eat like ever

@@gwstuff4174 they have been for sale in the US since 1958, known as Cocoa Krispies. They changed the name to Cocoa Rice Krispies in 2003.

So nostalgic, love me some Coco Pops. You missed one out somewhere in the middle early 2000s 2D animated era though. They were playing football or something and the monkey says something like "I threw them to Hefty..." That's a super random core memory stuck in my brain lol.

I know some of these are in the wrong order but I do not care, this makes me feel so nostalgic, I remember most of these ads during my childhood in the late 90s and early 2000s, the competitions they had were so much fun where you had to help Coco and the gang out (also back when cereals had free toys -_-)

@@cerealmad Ugh, ain't that just the way...I've experienced certain chocolate bars being changed, and while not awful they're not as good as before. I assume it's mainly good intentions to be less sugary, but it sucks when enjoyability goes down

I know in the 1990s America even showed an ad or two like these with the same cartoon monkey singing the same song, only it was "Everybody wants my Cocoa Krispies!" Then they tried rewoking Coco into a real live ape and it was terrible and we all quickly forgot that Cocoa Krispies ever had its own mascot.

If appears the original voice stopped around 2008. I understand Ronnie Bond wrote the jingle, but don't know if he sang it. Other credits for the voice actor of Coco include Ross Higgins from Australia and Marc Silk.

@@cerealmad it's my life's mission to find the singer for bran flakes "tasty tasty very very tasty" and coco pops. There are unforgotten heroes of these ads who brought these characters to life. Certainly Ronnie Bond (not the Troggs drummer) was a prolific jingle writer giving us Coco pops, bran flakes, Cadbury flake and Kwik fit.
