- Fantastic selection of Tony Tiger Frosties adverts from over the years. These were promoted during Childrens and primetime TV Adverts in the Ad breaks along with kids comics
These films are a retrospective and nostalgic look at what the offers have been over the years here in the UK and relive your youth
The channel mainly focuses mainly on Breakfast Cereal brands including Weetabix, Kellogg’s, Quaker, Nabisco & Nestle, however I like to include other things that interest me. Its a chance to act as a future archive/history for anyone who wants to relive the magic of youth when you used to rush down to breakfast, open the new packet and hope the gift was one you wanted
So for those of you who look back in the past with fond memories of Yesteryear and recall mascots such as Kellogg's Coco Monkey, Tony Tiger, Snap Crackle & Pop, Cornelius Cockerel, Captain Rick, Loopy, Honey Monster, Weetgang, Hunger, Quicky Bunny, Chip Wolf, Hunger, Klondike Pete & Pardner then this is for you.
Where ads and commercials are included, these were all shown on usual ITV channels, including CITV, GMTV, POP, Disney, Nick Jr, Boomerang, Nickleodeon, Sky Kids ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Carlton, Cartoon Network, Anglia, LWT, Pop Milkshake, SMTV, Boomerang and more
If you wish to contact me my details are on my website www.cerealoffers.com
I love 1950s commercials they are amazing
WOW! Tony, all in once place! Thanks! I was never crazy about the cereal, but I liked /like Tony. 🙂
glad you like the ads
This compilation is amazing. These are the best transfers. A treasure of classic TV animation. Thank you for sharing these lost pieces of history.
A pleasure - thanks for watching
I know Frosties are not healthy but these commercials are Grrreat!!
I love Kellogg's Frosties! They sure are, as our favourite tiger Tony says, Grrrrr-EAT! And, let's face the truth, without Tony, ads like these wouldn't be iconic.
4:57: the start of commercials featuring Thurl Ravenscroft as Tony the Tiger.
Here in America, We Call Frosties, Frosted Flakes
yeah, Frosted Flakes is a worse name I agree. You guys name everything so bloody literally lmao
@@Grandmastergav86 in México are called Zucaritas
Hey i like ghe name frosted flakes it rolls of the toungue & frosties just sounds like a sugary posicle(also the wendys frozen milkshake)
§∆§§§§§§§∆§§§§§§§§×§§§
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think they also call them Frosties in Australia as well
They're great!
Kellogg’s if you are hearing this you are GRRRRRRRRRREAT!!!
Yeah exept frosted flakes
But shreddies are much tastier
3:33 Tony freezes up
3:43 tony looks creepy
Thanks.
I'll always prefer the late Thurl Ravenscroft as Tony the Tiger.
Reminds me of that one line from Tigger taken from the Winnie The Pooh And Tigger Too segment from The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh.
Super! Au moins on voit de l’époque où mes parents sont nées et à mon époque de naissance et bien après. C’est le plus merveilleux des cadeaux pour 2023. Merci beaucoup. Sophie.
Back in 1952, they where called sugar frosted flakes until 1983 when the u.s. and canada dropped the word sugar in the cereals name, (they are still called frosted flakes in the u.s.a. and candania market since 1952 celebrating over 70 years (a.k.a. 7 decades)) then the u.k., Ireland, Australia, israel, most commonwealth nations, and european and middle east countries started calling this cereal frosties (they're still called frosties to this very day). Also the commercial at 13:27 is basically brought from the united states version, but the name is frosties instead of sugar frosted flakes. Originally Dallas McKennon voiced Tony the tiger from 1952 until 1953 when Thurl Ravenscroft (the voice of kirby the vacuum) took over as the voice heard in every other commercial for over 50 years ever since until his death in 2005. In 1999, in the United Kingdom, Tom Hill became the united kindom's voice of Tony the tiger, while in the United States, Lee Marshall became the new voice of Tony the tiger (but started in 1999 as the understeady and singing voice, and then in 2005 he did the voice full time) until his death on April 27th, 2014, and now Tony the tiger is currentlly voiced by Tex Brashear.
No wonder they removed sugar from the name it would probably be less popular because the 1950s was a time when the kellogs cult was starting(i dont even like frosties its too sweet)
28:19 Voice Change A
42:29 Voice Change B
Hate to say this, but I think the first voice change after Thurl Ravenscroft sounded better than the latter. I never quite understand why some companies want to distance away from certain voices that have a strong cadence to the character.
He's their star player! HHHHHEEEEYYYYYYYYGY
Let's Go, Coach! 12:23
I have vintage comics with the adverts to get the model planes from 1976
Best video you ever made dude

I've been around since 1953; am I missing something?
Around 1960 they changed their name

Free genuine model guns in cereal. That’s funny. Some people would loose their sh*t if that was a prize in cereal today. Imagine airing the commercials of today with interracial couples, LGBTQ, ect back in the 1950’s. They would be outraged. That sure is a conundrum. Not sure if it’s sad or funny.
You are totally right. It was an offer of its age. I did a review of the guns here - th-cam.com/video/KG9qligYMpQ/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for watching.
